THIRTY Scots sex beasts have fled abroad this year, the News of the World can reveal.


Cops admit the whereabouts of many of the pervs - including paedophiles and rapists - are "unknown".


Yet all of them have been convicted of sex crimes here.


And last night the shocking figures were BLASTED by campaigning mum Margaret Ann Cummings, 33.


Speaking almost six years after her eight-year-old son Mark was murdered by evil Stuart Leggate, 34, she asked: "Why should 30 sex offenders, who committed crimes in Scotland be free to go where they please? They are dangerous and manipulative men.


"It is hard enough to track the monsters who live here, never mind when they have scattered abroad."


News of the sickos' exodus comes after it emerged last week that a killer paedophile was in Portugal in 2007 when three-year-old tot Madeleine McCann was snatched.


Twisted Charles O'Neil, 47, has refused to meet detectives working for Maddie's parents Kate and Gerry McCann.


The monster and his gay lover William Lauchlan, 33, were jailed for life earlier this month for murdering Allison McGarrigle, 39, in Largs, Ayrshire, to stop her exposing their abuse of a child.


Latest police figures show there are 3107 registered sex offenders living in Scotland.


But 30 of them are listed as "whereabouts unknown" or "living abroad". This means they have left the country without permission - or their application to move has been accepted by cops.


Last night a police insider told us: "If they have done things by the book, we can monitor them through passport control and local police.


"We try to do the same when offenders flee unlawfully - but it is difficult."


Strathclyde Police revealed eight convicted sex offenders are now abroad, while Tayside say six beasts are overseas while one is missing.


Central Scotland have six classified as "whereabouts unknown", while the figure for Lothian and Borders is three.


One Fife sex offender is out of the UK, three from Northern Constabulary and two from Dumfries and Galloway. But no offenders from Grampian have been reported to be abroad in the past three months.


But Margaret Ann, of Glasgow, added: "Police need more powers to help them keep tabs on offenders like Lauchlan - they should not be allowed out of our sight."


A spokesman for Scotland's police chiefs said: "Offenders who have left the country continue to be monitored."

Now forgive me if i am wrong here but gay means homosexual and thus are only interested in members of the same sex in this case male. This is why they targeted Boys for their sexual abuse.

Now i am taking a huge guess here but i am thinking and correct me if i am wrong here , that Madeleine was a GIRL

So why would 2 homosexual men who are only interested in boys be linked to Madeleine? she would be of absolutely no sexual interst to them at all, in fact they would find her sexually repulsive.

All this is is bodgitt and scarper running around trying to look as if they are busy being detectives.
Why on earth should those disgusting monsters speak to bodgitt and scarper? there is no link save that they were abroad and male and paedophiles.

Who are child sex offenders and how do they operate?

When the term ‘child sex offender’ is used in this leaflet, it is referring to people who commit sex offences against children. People from a wide range of backgrounds and ages are known to commit sex offences. Most known child sex offenders are men, though some are women and and around one third are young people themselves. Strangers carry out around 20 per cent of child sex offences and these are the cases often focused on in the media. (i.e. The News Of The World, The Sun, etc)

However, the vast majority (at least 75 per cent) of child sex offenders are known to their victims – they are often a member of the family, a friend of the victim or a friend of the victim’s family.

Well we now have another 30 possible paedophiles for the McCanns to pin the abduction on. That should keep us all busy for the rest of this year and possibly into next year. I remember Goncalo saying the McCanns will bring up many sightings, how right Goncalo was.

When is someone in authority going to put a stop to this charade. I feel ashamed to be British seeing this despicable duo running rings around the PJ and also our police.

My heart goes out to the many families who have men and women fighting in Afganistan, also to those who have lost loved ones. You must all wonder why people like the tapas 9 have so much political protection when your family members are left to their own devices.

I know this to be the case as I have a very good friend in exactly that situation.

Abused By Mum

HUNDREDS of mums in Scotland are suspected of neglecting and abusing their own KIDS.

Horrifying figures show that 843 mothers have been charged by cops for neglecting their children in the past five years... and a further seven were charged with sexually abusing their own youngsters.

And it's not just mums - grans, sisters and friends of the family are also making some kids' lives a misery.

Using a Freedom of Information request, we discovered that 4,395 women were charged with abusing youngsters between 2004 and 2009. Elaine Chambers from charity Childline Scotland - who have seen calls from kids being sexually abused by a woman jump a shocking six per cent in five years - said: "Many people find it unimaginable that any female, let alone a mother, can sexually assault a child, but that is a dangerous assumption.

"It is so important we remain vigilant and act on any concern, irrespective of gender."

And Tory community safety spokesman John Lamont hit out: "These are horrific figures and another indication of the extent of our broken society."

The charges covered neglect, assault, sexual abuse and luring kids into prostitution.

And it's feared that these allegations may be the tip of the iceberg as many incidents may go unreported.

The startling revelations follow findings last year by the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration, which showed 5,651 kids under two were being investigated for suffering suspected neglect and abused.

A spokesperson said: "The vast majority of children are referred for their own care and protection - four out of five children are referred to us on welfare grounds.

"They can be victims of assault, neglect and abuse." The number of mums who were charged with physically abusing or neglecting their own kids was highest in the Grampian Police area, with 282 cases, while Dumfries and Galloway reported 56 incidents.

Lothian and Borders Police revealed 653 women were accused of neglecting or physically abusing kids and 15 of sexually abusing them.

They couldn't give figures on how many cases involved mums and their own children.

Strathclyde Police revealed 2,596 women were charged with neglecting or physically abusing kids and a further 41 for sexual abuse.

Meanwhile, in Tayside 225 women were charged with abuse or neglect - including 211 mums.

Northern Police were unable to provide the information we requested.

Labour's shadow justice secretary Richard Baker, said: "Too many children are living in bad family circumstances and that has got to change.

"Those who offend against children should be getting the most severe sentences from Scottish courts."

Head of Children's Services Operations at Barnardo's Scotland, SallyAnn Kelly, said: "Reports to the police regarding allegations of abuse and neglect of children are a source of concern. We know that children are most likely to be abused or exploited by someone known to them and relatively few incidents of abuse involves strangers.

"Barnardo's Scotland believes that all children and young people have the right to grow and develop their potential without fear of violence, abuse or exploitation and should be protected."

In total, 90 women across the country were charged with sex crimes against kids.

This included four women accused by cops in Central Police of lewd and libidinous acts against their own kids. One mum in Fife was charged and two in Grampian.

Steve Lowe, director of Phoenix Forensic Consultants, which treats and assesses child sex abusers, said last year: "As a society, we find women sex offenders difficult to acknowledge.

"But we have seen evidence that women are capable of terrible crimes against children - just as bad as men."

And Adam Ingram, Minister for Children and Early Years, added: "No child should have to suffer abuse or neglect.

"Neglect and abuse within the family is much more prevalent than 'stranger danger', and it is vital that we are all aware of our responsibilities to help protect children."
