First time I've looked at Nancy Grace. So many unsolved cases. I hope this little girl is found safe and well.

Why take a photo off a child either crying or looking.....like what?

Dont they have a 'nice' smiley picture off her to put out.

Nancy Grace

Four days after a 3-year-old West Virginia girl disappeared from her home, local authorities were working with federal and state agencies Tuesday to determine what the next steps in their search should be.

FBI Special Agent John Hambrick told reporters during a brief press conference that investigators are reviewing the work they have done so far in the hunt for Aliayah Lunsford and “getting organized to look at what we need to go back over.”

“We’re doing our level best to advance this case,” Hambrick said, though he provided very few details about what progress has been made.

“The specifics of our investigation, we’re not going to discuss in the public forum right now,” he said.

Other than describing the search area as a “very confined” one developed based on past experience and scientific data, Hambrick would not talk about where the search is focused or whether any suspects have been identified in Aliayah’s disappearance.

However, he did say, “We are still operating under the possibility that she is alive…We know it’s possible.”

The girl’s mother told police that the she was last seen in their Weston home around 6:30 am on Saturday wearing purple “Dora the Explorer” pajamas and a pink sweatshirt. Family members have said they do not believe Aliayah would have wandered off alone or willingly gone with a stranger.

More than 1,000 volunteers have participated in the search, along with divers and K-9 teams. A Lewis County Sheriff’s Office official said the assistance from the public in the case has been “outstanding.”

Anyone with information about Aliayah Lunsford’s disappearance is asked to contact Lewis County Dispatch at (304) 269-8241.

She was three......and had 4 brothers and sisters and the mother is pregnant with twins.

Look at the pic.....the four front teeth are missing...ok....not impossible to fall out on their own or she may off fell and knocked them out but very unlikely.

The k9 dogs traced her scent to the river....she could off passed that river 48 hours before she went missing.

She has a stepfather......the real father Doesnt know if he is the father off her......what a mess and NO trace off an abductor......she could off easily walked out off the house if it wasnt secure.

I think this part is very interesting, kitti.

Other than describing the search area as a “very confined” one developed based on past experience and scientific data, Hambrick would not talk about where the search is focused or whether any suspects have been identified in Aliayah’s disappearance.

The timeline seems to be off importance too.

The 9 yr old slept in the same room as her.

Now they are saying it's unusual for a child to sleep past 9.30am even though they say she was not well , she could off slept in.....the brother got up and went to another room, what time did he go and was it when the mother left at 6.30am....apparently he is a witness.

Was the house secure when she left?

Why did she leave 1 yr old....3 yr old....9 yr old and 11 yr old in a house all by themselves?

Yes, alarm bells are ringing. I hope we are kept updated on this one. A 'confined' search. Yes, I can imagine it will be.
