No McCanns on front of Express, Mirror, Sun, Mail ??

They've only made the front of The Guardian, Telegraph, i and The Times.... whilst it might fuel their egos to be on the high brow papers those papers have never been the ones to be in a love-fest with them like the red tops have. Not to mention they have more intellectual readers who can see through the spin....

Only a teensy bit on the front of The Star aswell, times must be bad!

the media wont like that the mcanns are bashing their collegues and calling the press liars etc

Yes, I noticed that Margaret. In fact the Mail didn't mention them until page 10 - I have a feeling some editors may be having difficulty in keeping the top on the pressure cooker. Hope so, anyway.

yep as i said the press wont like the fact that kate and gerry slandered their industry

They were on the front of the Metro this morning. Ruined my journey in to work....

They've never been able to resist complaining about the behaviour of others, in spite of the fact that their own behaviour in relation to the care of their children was abysmal, and so obviously saw this enquiry as another chance to indulge in their favourite pastimes of moaning and blaming, etc. But biting the hand that feeds you is never wise; the press may play along for a while longer, but I think they'll have their retaliation in the future at some stage. They could do it any time, of course, without the slightest risk to their papers, since all they have to do is publish extracts from the official case files which is certainly not something the McCanns could prevent. The press has helped keep the facts of the investigation from the public, but they're under no obligation to continue to do so.

dimise thats it though they will always see how far they can push . but this imo is the biggest home goal since 2007 .

I noticed that too when looking through the front pages on Sky News. The McCanns, in my opinion, have seriously p*ssed off the redtops that actually gave them so much space every time they showed up at any event or some 'source,' made a statement or the McCanns commented on anything.

I would like to agree with you all, but we have had Gerry and Kate slagging off the papers for the last couple of years, Gerry having ago at the PCC last year.......did the Editors/Papers fight back then,, NO!! so I'm not that confident they will now....SORRY!!

the photograph on yesterday's times was awful!
i think that they could not have found a more shifty nasty looking photo of the dreadful duo,
methinks...as many do...that the love in with the press is over
and the mccanns are out on a limb...alone!
