Well done gillyspot. I wonder how Kate will continue to hold on to her licence when it comes to Revalidation???

http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/revalidation.asp

Revalidation will be our new way of regulating doctors that will give further assurance to patients that they are up to date and fit to practise. Doctors will revalidate by having regular appraisals that are based on our core guidance for the medical profession, Good Medical Practice.

Based on doctors' appraisals, their responsible officer will make a recommendation to the GMC that their licence to practise should be revalidated. This will normally happen every five years.

We are expecting to introduce revalidation from late 2012. This section gives more detail about how revalidation will work in practice for doctors and their employers.

There is information about the revalidation process for a doctor, and how the revalidation recommendation will be made to the GMC.

http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/revalidation/9612.asp

This page provides a step by step guide to how the revalidation process will work:

For revalidation, licensed doctors will link to the GMC through a single organisation. This is called their 'prescribed connection'.
Licensed doctors will be expected to have regular appraisals that are based on our core guidance for doctors, Good Medical Practice.
Licensed doctors will need to maintain a portfolio of supporting information drawn from their practice which demonstrates how they are continuing to meet the principles and values set out in Good Medical Practice Framework for appraisal and revalidation. Some of the supporting information needed by doctors will come from organisations' clinical governance systems, which doctors will need help from their employer to access.
The responsible officer of the organisation that a doctor has a 'prescribed connection' with will make a recommendation to the GMC about a doctor’s fitness to practise, normally every five years. The recommendation will be based on the outcome of a licensed doctor’s annual appraisals over the course of five years, combined with information drawn from the clinical governance system of the organisation in which the licensed doctor works.
The GMC will make the decision to revalidate a licensed doctor. That decision will be informed by the responsible officer's recommendation.

I wonder what she takes to work in the absence of Cuddle Cat.

Maybe a Dummy?

Or does Gerald not have time to accompany her?

Hi TEIN,

Kate does not have anything to prove now , she and Gerry have got the Media and Government and SY eating out of their hands now so the desperate
greiving Mother act can be dropped.

After the McCanns were visited by Social Services and a police officer, Gerry issued a statement, part of the statement said that S.S had told them that what they did was within the bounds of normal parenting and no action would be taken against them. He also said that Kate would no longer be returning to work as a doctor, her job was now looking after Sean and Amalie.

The real words used were 'reasonable parenting'.

Not words like responsible, excellent, fastidious, caring, wonderful or perfect (the words you'd want to be describing you as a parent) just............reasonable.

That visit didn't go as well as they'd like to claim, ever since the twins faces are not allowed to be shown in photos.

Robert Murat and his "friends" also go their libel suits in and "damages paid on 17th July 2008 JUST before the files were released.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/jul/17/medialaw.pressandpublishing

Which does make you wonder how come the expensive lawyers didn't know the files were coming out. Although it is true to say I can't seen any evidence to tie in Murat to the disappearance of Madeleine. Can't say the same for Kate & Gerry though

Morning gillyspot,

Murat sued the Papers for what they said about HIM, nothing to do with the McCanns.

I noticed this in the same link you gave.......now we know why the case was shelved!!!!! Bet the McCanns were pig sick. The real reason the McCann couple 'won' an out of court settlement/Littlemorsals - Page 2 294124

Portuguese promise 'solution' in Madeleine McCann investigation

Portugal's attorney general today said he would announce a
"solution" to the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine
McCann on Monday.
Fernando Jose Pinto Monteiro's comments raised
the prospect of Kate and Gerry McCann finding out whether they will be
formally cleared of involvement in their daughter's disappearance.
Monteiro's words also fuelled speculation that the case could finally be drawing to a close.
He told reporters in Lisbon today: "The Maddie case will have a solution on Monday and you will hear of it."
Reports suggested he would announce whether the case would be closed, charges would be brought or more inquiries made.
The
McCanns' spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, said the family, whose daughter
went missing from their holiday apartment on May 3 last year, had not
been contacted by the Portuguese authorities.
"We've heard nothing
official and our lawyers have heard nothing official," he said. "It may
well be true, but we can't comment because we haven't heard. We're not
going to prejudice anything."
