Maybe we should ask the dogs again (Sandra).

I wish I could afford to bring Martin Grimes and Eddie and Keela across for a weeks - busman's holiday' to scour that area that Pat refers to - those damm unreliable dogs!

But perhaps if there any ex-pats that live close to the area that could walk their own dogs in a systamatic pattern across the area - does'nt matter if its over the course of months - its amazing how ordinary dogs can pick up scents as has happened many a time when someone has been out wakling their dog that finds a body.

I have no idea how large an area it is that we are talking about, does anyone have a map of the area that Pat refers? Perhaps the dogs could have the final say yet in this mystery - how good would that be?? WOOF WOOF Gerry!!!

I am sure many people with dogs did look and are still looking in fact. This area sounds popular with dog walkers and, in time, something may turn up.

I hope they are still looking LJC - esp in the area Pat has narrowed down from the phone pings. What we need to remember is that whilst the NOTW £2m reward money may not be avaiilable - there is an absolute fortune waiting any dog that discovers the body. Think of all those interviews starting with Sandra!! Syndicated world wide the lucky mutt would become a world-wide celeb overnight. Of course the owners would have to go along to meet with the Pope and Oprah, chaperone in Germany etc!! ASK THE DOGS - AGAIN -SANDRA!! 23324

Perhaps the local ex-pats might think of organising a few 'Walk your dog for Maddy' days from time to time bringing along their Portugese doggie friends of course and comb the area. There is a pot of gold awaiting as if finding the girl is not reward enough!!!

If anyone living in or near to PDL are thinking of having a get together with their dogs and walking in the area, count me in. My Pippa loves going for a walk especially if she can do more sniffing than walking. I always say that she should have been trained as a sniffer dog. 20 mins walk to her is really 5 mins walk and 15 mins sniffing.

Looks as if those sniffer dogs are quite so incredibly unreliable after all.
