You'd think, wouldn't you?

You'd think, wouldn't you, that the mccanns would absolutely hate paedophiles, and anyone associated with paedophiles, as they believe their daughter might be in the hands of a paedo, that they would have absolutely no truck with these evil nasty people.
Yet lo and behold we find that a 'sponsor' for St Kates' 'missing' charidy run, tomorrow, is none other than Angus McBride!
Now, correct me if i'm wrong but, i'd have thought that accepting money from a man that DEFENDS convicted paedophiles might be a little like 'the pot calling the kettle black'
Seems another PRETENDY outburst from the McCanns, 'WE HATE PAEDOPHILES' has hit the buffers although no doubt Gerry will put on 'another great performance' (for Kate) denouncing paedophiles to the world, whilst readily accepting money from a staunch defender of one.
So disgusted are they (supposedly) at people that would defend paedos (you'd think) WHY is it then that they RETAIN Angus McBride to represent THEM, paid for out of the 'fund'?
To paedo or not to paedo? that is the question.

Child neglectors, money-grabbers, congenital liars and others fall into that same category.

Well he's only there as their token lawyer, they like to use them so people are reminded of how litiguous they are.

Angus McBride? It's just a name that people will recognise and that's what matters to some folks. Bit like using a firm of lawyers whose name is immediately recognised. Carter-Ruck may have represented some of the worst scum on this earth, but hey, people have heard of them and they're expensive!

Paedophiles? Yes, the word keeps cropping up and it's one of the most disconcerting aspects of this whole affair. First off we have the McCanns screaming abduction by a paedophile or paedophiles. There's absolutely no evidence whatsoever for an abduction even, so how was the quantum leap to abduction by a paedophile made? Initially I thought it was intentional to make the abduction story more credible and be sure to grab the headlines. Then along came the Gaspars, seemingly out of the blue and made statements to the police which are worrying in themselves. Then there is the information concerning the Yvonne Martin confrontation, one cannot call it anything else. Next we have the gushing and almost inappropriate descriptions by certain people claiming to know Madeleine well, not forgetting the various pictures of Madeleine in adult clothing and with make up applied, make up which looks to me to have applied by an adult and of course particularly the photograph with the eyeshadow and pose which I personally find absolutely shocking. Let's not forget certain explicit passages in the book either, and we see a pattern emerging which it is difficult to ignore. All coincidences then? Hard to believe.

For a facebook site that afaik has 90k plus supporters then 80 odd folk donating is pretty sad. Still this year she's beaten last year's total of 72. Not much support for a celebrity.
