All hype and no progress

Am I the only one totally fed up with all this hype that things are going to happen soon. This that or the other is moving forward. precisely absolutely nothing at all has moved forward and nothing has happened. I am not blaming any individual but I am a bit fed up to be honest.

How do you know there's no progress?
How do you know that things are not moving forward?

Just because we can't see something happening doesn't mean it's not happening.

Do you know what Scotland Yard are doing?
Do you know what the Porto PJ team are doing?

Nobody knows what they're doing.
Yes, one can feel 'a bit fed up' being left in the dark.
But we have to stay in the dark, otherwise the ghastly perpetrators will gain the upper hand yet again.

Yes, we seem to have been waiting for a very long time. I am quite frankly, amazed that they can speak such utter sh*t on TV and still get away with it. Nothing seems to happen to them. I console myself with the fact that even a very thick coating of Teflon wears off a pan eventually.

It is frustrating but we have to also remember that each interview they do they are in effect
digging themselves an even deeper hole, this is all information which the police will be taping, and all adds to the information about the numerous discrepancies in their statements and interviews, and the Police will be able to compare what was said originally and in various statements with what Kate has put in her book, so I think the interviews are giving a wealth of information to the Police. It is also known that the Police encourage suspects to do tv appearances and interviews for this very reason, to see what mistakes they make, to see how they contradict themselves, observe body language etc.

well, i do hope things are happening. I remember there was a black-out on news from the Falklands 30 years ago (yes, I'm everso old) and we all got very frustrated then that "nothing was happening". There was also a black-out about the lady released two weeks ago from Somalia. So let's hope something similar is happening. I bet most newspapers have lots of stuff locked away....

I think it's better that things are kept under "wraps" . We don't know if the P.J. and S.Y. are preparing a case against the McCanns, but if they are, they don't want anything to jeopardise the case. If they release information, before the McCanns are charged with any offence, the McCanns could say they have been tried by media and the case could get thrown out.

I'm as frustrated as everyone else. I get wound up when I see the "gruesome twosome" flying hither and thither, to countries far and wide, spouting their lies and putting Goncalo Amaral and the PJ down, at every opportunity. I get mad at interviewers, when they don't ask the McCanns, why they didn't search for Madeleine, why they lied about the shutter and other aspects of the case and why has only 13% of the money, from the " Fund to Find Madeleine" been spent on looking for Madeleine.

I dreamt about the McCanns last night, for the first time since the news broke about Madeleine's disappearance. In my dream, I confronted the McCanns and said everything to them, I have always wanted to say. In my dream I was proud of myself, for being brave enough to confront them.

Then I woke up and I was gutted to find out it was only a dream. I hope I never dream about this vile couple again.

The way I see it is we all have a part to play in helping things move forward. There are petitions to sign and facebook groups campaigning for justice and to get the case re-opened.

You say nothing has happened but you do not know what is going on re the review. None of us do, not even the McCanns and friends.

kathy belle ive always said that mistakes have been made regarding what the mcanns know or think they do - any information that is forth coming from it will be guarded by the ones pj and sy . the police wont be giving them anything at all . they will know what we do joe public and nothing more . if and when any of them are interviewed imo they will all be picked up together and taken into different police stations for questioning . no time to get on the phone . and no meetings . thats when we will know when things are happening
