Brunty is a busy little bee today - busting a gut to get all this stuff out on Twitter.
Elsewhere, his lord and master is up before Leveson.

Police have released an image of what Madeleine McCann would look like if she were alive today.
Madeleine McCann
Image: Teri Blyth
The image comes as detectives state they have the best chance yet to solve the mystery surrounding the girl's disappearance in Portugal - and beleive that she might still be alive.
A new Scotland Yard review into the case was launched in May 2011 after David Cameron responded to a plea from Madeleine's parents Gerry and Kate McCann. 28 detectics are currently searching through evidence from all sources.
DCI Andy Redwood said: "From the outset we have approached this review with a completely open mind, placing Madeleine McCann at the heart of everything we do. We are working on the basis of two possibilities here. One is that Madeleine is still alive; and the second that she is sadly dead.
"Based on the former we are releasing the age progression image today with a specific appeal.
"If you know where Madeleine McCann is now or you have new direct information/evidence about what has happened to her then please contact us.
"The second point of appeal today is in relation to those who were at the resort of Praia da Luz between 28 April and 3 May 2007. If you were either on holiday or in residence in the resort during this period, particularly in the vicinity of the Ocean Club, and you have not been spoken to by police either here or in Portugal then please call us on 0800 0961011 if you are within the UK. The number for non-UK residents is +44 2071580 126. Alternatively if you do not want to speak to us directly you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

195 investigative opportunities, does that mean the number of minutes in total between each alleged check. this i really need to understand 195 investigative opportunities what have they found in the files that no one else has and why are they reporting it to the media. big brush of whitewash jimo. just read the appeal for holidaymakers to contact the police so hold that big brush for the moment.

I'm an optimist...
They had a liason officer before....they were told they weren't suspects...until they were told the WERE.
Is Panorama always half an hour or was this a last minute deciision only allowing for 30 min program?
It was brought forward for a reason..
SOMETHING is about to happen....
This is about 'preparing the public'...For WHAT though? Re-opening?

Re: Panorama:Madeleine:The Last Hope...Thur 3rd May
Ludicrous. The two possiblities are that a) Madeleine was abducted (in which case she's either alive or she's dead) or b) that she wasn't abducted (in which case she's either dead or alive and being concealed somewhere).
What is wrong with these people?

Nope just a statement that the SY team need more money to finish their review.

The Find Madeleine site has been quick (for once) to update itself with the latest image.
http://www.findmadeleine.com/index.html
I just love their message "It's never too late to do the right thing!"
For once Kate and Gerry I totally agree with you!

Sadly, all the good things I've heard about Hogan-Howe have just gone up in smoke.
He'll regain my respect if he asks for his money back.

Re: Panorama:Madeleine:The Last Hope...Thur 3rd May
Guardian quoting Redwood :
"Dismissing conspiracy theories about Madeleine's parents' involvement, Redwood said he believed the girl's disappearance was the result of "a criminal act by a stranger".
http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/apr/25/madeleine-mccann-case-reopen-call
Well, that`s it then.
or is this just journalistic licence - surely they can`t misquote him like that?

Re: Panorama:Madeleine:The Last Hope...Thur 3rd May
If what Redwood is quoted as saying is correct, then there should be no problem in giving us chapter and verse about what Evidence supports that.

Re: Panorama:Madeleine:The Last Hope...Thur 3rd May
"he believed" ? a bit short. He has to prove it.
I wonder if such declarations are not tactical : SY knows very well that PJ won't reopen the case without new real evidences. Perhaps they do as if they believe that some leads are serious enough to reopen the case, knowing perfectly that it's not the case and the Portugal won't agree. They are winner if the Portugal refuse, because they can say that they can't go further if the Portugal doesn't follow the leads, the enquiry is finish for them ( no more money and protest from the taxpayers) and all the blame on Portugal.
