Bite Big, Chew more and Swallow little.
This phrase was always a favourite of my late
Grandfathers. He would repeat it, and shout it
at the TV news and at his 'wireless'. He would
mutter it whilst reading the local press, and say
it if he thought he was being fooled.
I hope you don't mind me sharing this simple
phrase, but I feel its more than appropriate when
dealing with all the PR spin, media reports, sightings,
Documentaries, etc, etc,
So, if you keep this in mind 'Bite Big, Chew more and
Swallow little' what you preceive becomes a bit more
clearer, does for me.

That's a good phrase of your late grandfather's and
certainly most apt in this case.

Thanks marxman. That's some very shrewd advice from your late grandfather!

marxman your grandfather was clearly an intelligent man to see through the lies that we have to put up with. I am sure he would have made full use of the internet to voice his disquiet if it had been available in his time.

Re: Bite Big, Chew more and Swallow little.
Thankyou Cherry1 and Pennylane,
Apparently, (as i've been advised,) this is a saying
with it's origins in the trenches of WW1. Where,
as we well know, many young flowers of blossoming
youth were sent to their death because of corrupt
politicians, inept Generals etc, Lions led by donkeys!
I feel with all the lies, spin and deceit being engineered
we all got to sit back and deconstruct what is actually
being said, who is saying it, and who benifits most from
whats being said.
The McCann camp and their followers, have had the same
time as myself to 'chew' on the information available. I,
instead of swallowing, have chosen to spit out the propaganda
and demand the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but
the truth, no matter how difficult it is.

Hi gillyspot, yes indeed, he had, what we all have...
natural intelligence. The ability, knowledge, aptitude
and personality to question an affront to our senses.
He craved justice in an unjust world I suppose. He
was well aware of corruption within the 3 'P's even
away back then, police, press and politicians.
And, as you say, if only the internet was arround
then? This is why I feel that the internet( in its present
form) is the greatest leveler, and checks and balance
on all forms of authority.
