VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
My response to McCann McSpin 'Dogs are Unreliable'
Warning: Some graphic images
Gerry McCann claims that CADAVER dogs are unreliable. This video shows quite the opposite. Including footage of a murder victim found 10' below the surface with piles of MEAT on top to attempt to distract the dogs. They were not distracted.
10 acres of land, buried 10' down, this case would not have been solved without the dogs. Amazing footage!

Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
Gerry McCann says "cadaver dogs are enormously unreliable." Well watch this and weep Gerry! You can fool some of the people some of the time, but there are many thousands of people you haven't fooled ANY of the time!
I loved the way HiDeHo showed the dogs alerting in the apartment to Kate's trousers and top, and spoke of them alerting to cuddle cat also, and then flashed to Kate wearing and holding all three items back on the day after Maddie disappeared. Very powerful!
That was an amazing video HiDeHo, thank you so much!
Bet the McCanns wish Martin Grimes kept pugs.

Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
As always HiDeHo, in a league of its own, well done.
Kates comment is a very telling one. She says someting along the lines of the dogs alerted, i felt myself relax a little, this was not an exact science.
So the dogs alert to the scent of either blood, cadaver or both and you releax ?? Even if a person with an in-depth scientific knowledge of how the dogs work had valid scientific reasons for disbelieving in their accuracy, if those same dogs were alerting in relation to your OWN child, you would would most certainly not relax. That is lie down on the floor and wail time.
Any normal person would describe that moment as almost worse than finding their child missing - this is presenting a possibility of death or serious injury. You would not start to relax

So what is 'an exact science,' according to the McCanns? Gerry's doing research and coming up with a sample of one to try to prove the unreliability of the dogs? Gerry's research on the period of time the cadaver odour persists for, and from all the information published on the web, comes up with 30 days? Not much of a scientist.
Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
Honestly, the more you read the more you wonder how the McCanns escaped neglect charges at the very least.!! What a nerve, Gerry suggesting it
was his idea to use the dogs.

Fantastic video.....Gerry mccanns remark re.....'I asked for the dogs to be brought in'........wasnt that the search and rescue dogs he was on about as it was the BRITISH police who brought in the cadaver dogs ....what a lier he is
I mean, why would he ask for cadaver dogs to be brought in when he is always saying ....Madeleine is alive. And come to no harm.

It was Mark Harrison who suggested bringing in Eddie and Keela, after reviewing all the statements and walking all the routes the tapas 9 took and any possible route taken by an abductor. He said they should be looking for a body. So, no it wasn't Gerry who suggested it.

30 days - it is like the best before date on a bottle of milk.

It is, isn't it?! I'll bet Gerry found that and stopped looking! "Phew! 30 days! It's more than that since we.....so the dogs couldn't have found anything.
Hold on a minute, though, we didn't need all of those explanations if it's just 30 days! Drat!"

I couldn't help thinking it could be perceived in more ways than one!
'No matter where you go...I will find you!'
The comment about the dogs WAS referring to the July dogs and not the initial search dogs as can be seen at 27.15 in this video (which I finally managed to upload last week!)
Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
xcellent Video HiDeHo!
Would'nt it yet be so sooo ironic if dogs finally uncovered a body that finally nailed them. The word 'ask the dogs Sandra' and 'Unreliabe' would go through Gerry's mind every single minute of every single day whilst he was in
Now that would be sweet sweet justice.

Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
So, they asked for the dogs to be brought on the basis that Madeliene was 100% abducted, on the basis that the dogs are unreliable and on the basis that odour would not be available after 30 days. My head hurts

Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
Those dogs were/are amazing,10ft down & halfway there was a decoy of rotting meat which they ignored & continued to signal...Michael Wright said the Mccanns had rotting meat in the boot of the renault scenic that Eddie the cadaver dog searched & then alerted in

Did he really say that Matthew as Eddie didn't search or alert INSIDE the Scenic.
Was it just the one statement he gave as he mentions nappies here ?
MW Rog:
"I noted some unpleasant smells on a number of occasions which I think have come from the twins' nappies. Discarded nappies were collected in rubbish bags and held until thrown into the rubbish bins, thereby provoking smell."

Re: VIDEO: McSpin Response - Dogs Don't Lie!
Was it this statement you were thinking of Matthew by Sandy Cameron ?
"On one occasion, I believe it was on July of 2007, I took Patricia to the supermarket.
We carried bags in the boot (trunk) of the Renault Scenic; bought various items including fresh fish, shrimp and beef. When we unloaded the shopping bags, we noticed that blood has run out of the bottom of the plastic bag.
After this shopping trip and still in the month of July 2007, I began to notice a strange odour in the car. I did not give it much importance and assumed it was likely due to the leakage from the rubbish bags or from the blood which had escaped from the shopping bags.
As a result, we removed the carpet from the boot (trunk) in order to clean it. I tossed (beat) the boot carpet to remove any particles and cleaned it with a wet cloth and left it to air out."

Thats right.
On reflection I guess its stange that they didn't clear up the blood spillage there and then but waited until there was a smell.
Just how easy would it be to identify a blood spill on such dark material at a later date I wonder.
