WTF look at this

Post  Justiceforallkids on Wed 20 Jun - 12:15

Life in Rothley is definitely quietening down although daily photographs of us leaving the house still seem ‘newsworthy’ which I find incredible. We are slowly trying to return to normal and it is heartening meeting ordinary people who are very supportive and sympathetic. We have managed to catch up with quite a few friends in the last week, which we have actually had to build up to because of the emotions involved in talking about what has happened. We also had our first visitor from Praia da Luz who spent a few days with us. It was touching to hear about our friends there, who continue to hold weekly vigils praying for Madeleine and her safe return.

The media frenzy is gradually subsiding with just occasional unsubstantiated reports of ‘evidence’ appearing. It is very encouraging that Mr Rebelo’s officers will be seemingly reviewing all the material in the inquiry, which will hopefully identify areas for further investigation. Contrary to some other reports Kate and I do NOT accept that Madeleine is ‘probably’ dead. We know it is a possibility, however the fact there is no evidence Madeleine has been seriously harmed gives us ongoing hope

that she will be found alive.

Finally, thank you once again to evryone who has written to us or sent messages of support. Calum has been away for a week on holiday and we will be updating the messages of support very soon. We would love to reply to everyone personally but the huge numbers simply make it impossible.

The emotions involved in talking about what has happened? Well, they've never shied away from endless interviews about what happened and I never noticed a great deal of emotion.

Looking back at original page on the McCanns website they state "Contrary to some other reports Kate and I do NOT accept that Madeleine is ‘probably’ dead. We know it is a possibility, however the fact there is no evidence Madeleine has been seriously harmed gives us ongoing hope that she will be found alive."

!!!! reading the top post it could easily have been from a few weeks ago after the Panorama broadcast.
The 'I do' and the ' do not' etc I think is a serious Freudian slip. It's a constructed conviction that she is 'not', it's stored in the brain as 'I do' and has to be adjusted every time a statement is given.

So there's no evidence of her being 'seriously harmed' - not even the blood spatter in 5a.

The construction of the sentence doesn't exclude serious harm at all, just the evidence of this possible event is excluded. If a child is forcibly abducted by paedophiles, serious harm is the first thing that comes to mind.

Brilliant find! Thank goodness for all those screenshots.

Re: WTF look at this

Post  pamalam on Wed 20 Jun - 19:21

I searched the net and took this Bebo screenshot as soon as I was informed that NOT was added to the blog post.

I think the Bebo screenshot is genuine, for 3 reasons.

1) For what reason would you put the NOT in capital letters, if it was not to highlight a mistake.

2) The word Rebello with 2 Ls on the Bebo site has also been edited at the same time.

3) Also note the misspelling of the word [evryone] that appears on both sites,

For me this is proof that it was copied from the original blogs

The Bebo site would have no reason to alter the blog entry.

All other entries on Bebo were exactly as I had them on GMB site.

There are a few hiccups with the GMB site.
Please use back up site until it is sorted

Cheers Pamalam

edited to add reason 3
