Is it me, or does 37 sound really young to be the boyfriend of a Grandmother with a 12 yo?
Gets around, doesn't he. although I think this takes "keeping it in the family" a little too far!!

There's a McCann approved event on Sunday 12th August to release pink balloons with the usual raising awareness intent.
It's on Facebook as "Pink Balloon Day for Madeleine McCann Sunday 12th August".
Perhaps K & G will deign to make an appearance?
Why the 12th August, have I missed something about that specific date? Where is it to be held?
Hi. I believe 12th August is the Olympic Closing Ceremony. Piggybacking again. What happened to all of those massive screens that missing people were supposed to be flashed on to throughout the games? Haven't seen one and I'm in London.
It is also known as the "glorious 12th" , traditional start of the grouse shooting season. Perhaps it will be renamed as the traditional day of shooting unbelievers season

I suppose those who ask questions are the grousers in the McCann's book, so that's very fitting!

I sense she may not want to comment on this specific case...
Re: Has Kate McCann, the Ambassador for Missing People made any comment on the missing child Tia Sharp?
It's a terrible thing to say, but I think now when any other children go missing, if the family start immediately wearing T-shirts, I'll instantly suspect them, and that's all down to the McCanns...so I doubt St Kate will have anything to say about this case at all...far too close to home...Oh and those pesky dogs were right again!

Pesky dogs indeed!
I wonder if a cadaver dog was taken in this morning? And it was a 'general' sniffer dog taken in earlier this week? (were dogs used earlier in the week?)

It has been proved again that when a child goes missing look first at the family and friends!

Good sensing...you sometimes wonder in these cases...where the perpertrators get their ideas from

As if you could pull this kind of hoax off...& get away with it

If only the authorities could find a solution to the case where these scum get their ideas from

You said it Matthew! Poor child. Sounds as the family are not quite as savvy as certain others.

Well, the mother couldn't cope anymore very early in the week and nothing's been heard of her either.

But is it known for sure that the body was in the house all week?

it's been tweeted that the police think the body was moved between lofts in adjoining houses all week.

I heard the body was wrapped in plastic and put into the water tank which was in the loft.

The plastic might dull the odours, but cadaver dogs can detect the odour in lakes where a body has been dumped.

Going back to the question asked by the original poster, I think we can now say with 100% certainty that the answer is now, and will always be, a resounding no.
There are so few cases where strangers are involved with child abductions that it may be a very long time before we hear Kate's dulcet tones.

The longer the better, I know it isn't a fair comment on real scousers, but every time I hear a Liverpudlian accent I think of Kate... and cringe. Not Born Yesterday wrote:Going back to the question asked by the original poster, I think we can now say with 100% certainty that the answer is now, and will always be, a resounding no.

The bad news is that I meant we were unlikely to hear Kate talking in the near future about a particular missing person case.
I'm sure that it won't be long before she waxes lyrical about something else so don't throw away the ear plugs yet!

Im not so sure I think the TM and MP are probably right at this moment busy trying to sort some sad story for our Kate to speak of regarding Tia, you just wait and see, they will, try and turn it to their advantage somehow aimo.

The question is - why aren't the Portuguese police not investigating Madeleine's claimed burial place beneath the concrete on Murat's mother's premises? This case would appear to demonstrate that hiding a body quasi in full view i.e. in the place nobody would normally expect it to be after the police had searched for it there, is not such an outlandish possibility.

You are right T4two, there are perhaps newer and more powerful instruments/scanners available to the police which can identify buried anomalies without the need to dig unnecessary holes in Murat's drive.T4two wrote:The question is - why aren't the Portuguese police not investigating Madeleine's claimed burial place beneath the concrete on Murat's mother's premises? Re: Has Kate McCann, the Ambassador for Missing People made any comment on the missing child Tia Sharp?
If the McCanns were not involved in any way with Madeleine's disappearance, apart from neglect, they would have been demanding that Mrs Murat's garden was turned over, as soon as Stephen Birch announced that he had proof Madeleine was buried in the garden. Surely they would want to know if there was a body in the garden and if it was Madeleine, so they could give her a decent burial.
Kate McCann was ever so cool when Phillip Schofield brought up the subject. "Who is this person at the end of the day?" is what she said. She also said there is no credibility to the story, how does she know this when no one has turned over Mrs Murat's garden? In my opinion, this is more proof that Kate McCann along with her husband, knows exactly where Madeleine is and if she is dead or alive.

The real question T4two is, "Why have SY been "reviewing" the case for the past 15 months and they haven't see the obvious? Note to SY - High profile Missing Children cases since 2007:
1. Madeleine Mcann
2. Sharon Matthews
3. Tia Sharpe
Join the dots SY :(:(:(
