Re: Deleted calls/use of mobiles

Not to do with the phones but I heard the end of an interesting interview on 5 live the other day in which Jimmy Saville was being discussed. Particularly with relevance to the way he made friends in high places at every opportunity and this had the effect of making it very difficult for the allegations being made against him to gain any traction back in the day. There was, apparently, a reluctance for the authorities to step in as there was a concern about the public reaction to such action against a high-profile individual.

Sounds a bit like the kind of tactic that could be advised by a media relations company or something to me...

I don't know the timeframe but I assume the numbers were taken from the PJ files so from May-September 2007

Phoning the local hairdresser! 351282789xxx Portimao Korner Kutting, Hair Dresser, PdL

442077364455 London Christopher Little, Literary Agency (J.K.Rowling)

351282789xxx Portimao Philip Wright, Casa Colina ......Apparently he co-owned this property with Freud

27515076xxx South Afrika South African Police Service – Navalsig in Bloemfontein ......Danie Krugel??

Very busy with Washington

Thanks. Earnie Allen interested me. I thought he came on the scene much later, when the first age progression image was released. Must have a root around to see the timeframe for him being talked about publically.

Lots of very interesting calls, very swift contact with high profile people, at a time when most would be ringing police and family.

This one is interesting...351213924xxx Lisbon Núcleo de Intervenção de Dependências , Camara Municipal

Seems to the Lisbon Center for Addiction Intervention....
The Regional Delegation in Lisbon and Tagus Valley of IDT, IP (DRLVT), headquartered at Avenida Columbano Bordallo Pinheiro, n. No. 87, 1. º to 4. Floor, 1070-062 Lisbon, is a service of the devolved Institute for Drugs and Drug Addiction, (Normative Order no. º 51/2008 of 1 October - approving the Rules of the Institute on Drugs and Drug Addiction, PI; Decree-Law n. º 221/2007 of 29 May - approving the organizational structure of the Institute on Drugs and Drug Addiction,)

Why would he be phoning them? Anyone from Portugal on here that can confirm? I took the translation from google

The book
4th May:
page 86
At about nine o’clock we all went out on to Rua Dr Agostinho da Silva...
[... ]
By this time our friend Jon Corner, a creative director in media production in Liverpool, was circulating photographs and video footage of Madeleine to the police, Interpol and broadcasting and newspaper news desks. This was in accordance with the standard advice of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the US, which advocates getting an image of a missing child into the public domain as soon as possible.

Unquote

Jon Corner too, was very well informed - Kate puts this before 10.00 am. So during the night, Jon Corner got all his snaps of the McCanns out - found out where to send them and also - although this does not seem routine part of his job - did all this according to a directive current in the US!

Looking West were they?

SO why did it take THREE weeks to get 'last photo' out there?
I bet NCMEC would NOT advocate that!
Their advice would have been "LAST PHOTO" GET IN PUBLIC DOMAIN...............IMMEDIATELY!
