Cuddlecat.co.uk is still registered to the McCanns. After five years not much - then it appeared as a link on http://www.ethicalkidz.co.uk/.
I think it's run by friends of the McCanns - Stuart and Tara Gold (who were on the holiday in Greece with the group I believe)
Googled Cuddlecat and that was linked to that site last month. (april 2012)
I've just checked the site - they've had a complete make-over in style etc. The cuddlecat has disappeared but under charities is listed: Madeleine Mccann (Reg. Charity No. 6248215)
Under the heading: Children's Charities
So far, we have raised money for or donated to...
BBC's Children In Need (Reg. Charity No. 802052)
Circus Star (Reg. Charity No. 501667)
Missing People (Reg. Charity No. 1020419)
Madeleine Mccann (Reg. Charity No. 6248215)
Cancer Research (Reg. Charity No. 1089464)
I've just gone over the Charities Commission Website.

I spotted Cuddlecat in April/May last year on that site. Big photograph. I wish I’d taken a screenshot because it was the same toy.
I also recollect that Metodo3 were given twenty cuddlecats for their staff with instructions from Kate to squeeze them if they needed motivation in their search.
There was a cuddlecat.org as well in the early days.
Always been a marketing ploy imo. I expect that - just like Gerry’s idea of having Kate photographed in a bathing suit - it was dropped - even the Sun readers would have found it in bad taste?
Following on from this: when they left Portugal I recall reading about a large removal lorry being packed with all their possession and the many soft toys that had been donated.
Quite interesting that a few years later one of their friends starts a soft toy business which includes cuddlecat.
Both Cuddlecat websites are no longer to be found so have been whooshed in the last year. Anybody clever with the way back machine?

Goodness! You'd think Kate McCann had been to a double glazing sales seminar or something!

Re: Has anyone seen Cuddle Cat lately
Dogs would certainly enjoy looking for a missing cat....
I would imagine that the twins refused to be paraded with it any longer, feeling that it was too babyish and even Kate realised she couldn't continue to be seen with it herself; it had outlived its usefulness.
Now, if anyone can find evidence that Madeleine herself was never without it as claimed, that would be interesting!
Apart from one baby photo with something that could be it, but isn't definitely, there has been no proof at all.
