oh dear he came all that way for nothing again. seems he put his chariot before his horses. he should have waited for a response from the Judge. his solicitor knew this too, what freaky game are they playing. Thanks to Joana Morais.

ETA echoing joana's question why is G McC in Portugal, his solicitor would know all the legal requirements so just why is he there again today?

To be honest I suppose we could all go back and forth to Portugal on a daily basis ...if the fare was not out of our pocket.

What a farce this is.

Now Duarte doesn't even know who is testifying...

I think the answer to why Gerry McCann keeps going back is because when he loses,not being able to testify he will use his trump card....I.e. 'I wasn't allowed to speak up for Madeleine so that is why we lost the case' .

He has to be seen to be 'trying', it's all theatre and we know it.

He knew full well he couldn't testify but to his supporters, he tried and he wasn't allowed to speak out.

Well that will give him something to twine about outside the court, even though it seems to be the fault of his lawyer. And 2 air fares wasted !

I think it was more to do with the publication of the PJ files. how does TC know that what is written in the book is lies. have they read the pj files. I was interested to look at who had requested copies of the files when they were released. UK media know what the conclusion was!!

I don't think the McCs realised that the all the files could be made public when they didn't request the shelving to be postponed. I believe that's what caused their distress.
