I think it is Mrs Hubbard , Ma Healy is not due to appear as a Witness until later. Already , you can sense the change of attitude, even Martin Brunt in PDL is muted in his reporting . Joana Morais article is excellent , the drum beat is getting louder , let's hope the Judge is not taken in like the young one who banned the sale of Amaral's Book.

I did apologise on another thread,   If Kate is trying to look careworn with the long straight hair she has succeeded. I wonder if the Tapas Group is giving Kate a wide berth because they don't want to get involved They have known Kate a lot longer than Mrs Hubbard.

Anyone remember the old Sunday Times Insight Team of investigative journalists? I honestly think they would make mincemeat of this case, and not let the 'powers that be' get away with it. Those were the days!

I've always thought of SH as Kate's minder. The Hubbards' arrival in PDL was uncommonly serendipitous.

With all the high-level support that the McCanns had from Day One - which certainly wouldn't have been available to lesser mortals - I don't think that they needed a minder in the form of Old Mother Hubbard!

He's supposedly minding the twins - not that that's ever stopped him doing his own thing before.

His sister Trish is there from his side of the family.

And also it seems to be mostly her friends and family giving early testimonies. Oh, and McBride and Trickey.

I wonder if Gerald will appear next week? Or if either will appear when the Defence witnesses testify? I think they probably won't..

We aren't learning much in advance as to who will take the stand and when.

I expect Gonçalo's witnesses will be mostly or even all professional people rather than a motley collection of his friends and relations.

Yes, you're right Panda, in fact I remember one of the earliest press conferences, a couple of weeks into the pantomime, thinking 'wow, she's had a make over, new highlights, jewellery etc'. It was one of the things that made me stop and think, hang on.....
