What was the revelation?
The Jane Tanner Bundleman?

Tanner's sighting ruled out in the space of a couple of sentences - the sighting that the whole plot seemed to be centred around . Aside from that, didn't seem to be anything at all that hasn't already featured in the Portuguese police files.  Where does this leave the McCanns?  In exactly the same place, I think, just with a lot more money thrown at them.

Yes. That said its a bloody revelation to me that the man has only been discovered. Does he live in a cave when not on holiday ?. How could he not have known it was him they were looking for.

to be quite honest I really really was hoping that something new would come of all this. there were no revelations. the PJ were not happy that the person JT saw was the abductor, it was the McCs who were concentrating on this. The PJ also knew about Mr Smith and family sighting so what was new, what was a revelation, why the huge media. Burglars, blond men men in stairwells were all looked at by the PJ.

Nothing new but for a new version of bundleman being "possibly" an innocent father carrying his daughter from the creche.Possibly.

Well it's clear by reading your posts that Andy Deadwood and his 'crack Team' have more than fulfilled my expectations!

Hopefully they will realise that the PJ were actually a lot more competent than they have been given credit for and arrive at the same conclusion

The only revelation was that once the JT sighting is ruled out (previously the only pointer to a possible abduction) you need another as the only new pointer to a possible abduction.

If bundle man was on his way back from the crèche, how could he be over there where Tanner saw him ? I'm no good at maps so maybe my sense of direction is way off ??

The reconstruction was a joke, just images rather filmed  at random to entertain the audience with no link with the reality in PDL.It added nothing to the case.

Would the father be walking in the direction JT saw him coming from the crèche?

One thing I was pleased to see was photos showing the GNR and helicopters out in force looking for Maddie.

I disagree, I think even the actor running with the child at 10pm looked like Gerry.....I think the fact that they are majoring on this sighting could potentially be massive.

The police will know what the Smiths have said and are looking for collaboration I reckon.

So no Payne visit, no dogs, no mention of 'they've taken her' , no mention of the 48 unanswered questions, no Mrs Fenns crying evidence etc. etc. etc

I agree with Roasted Arizona, I thought the actor running with the child bore a striking resemblance to G.

did it actually say that madeleine was on the tennis  court 4 hours before she disappeared....
