Let's shut down the Thames barrier, don't want London flooding eh.....sod the backlash off water going elsewhere....We don't want our MPs getting their feet wet whilst their chomping on their caviar and cigars do we.

The flooding in the Thames valley is serious now,worse than Somerset imo as they should be expecting it.

This is starting to look very bad and the outlook for the rest of the year if that slip stream dont budge is not looking good.

Cameron is getting to grips with the flooding situation.Given him a chance to earn his corn and make some friends and also giving the Army something to do.
He will make a lot more friends if he channels a bulk of the foreign aid money into the GB infrastructure.

He has cancelled his visit to the Middle East next week which is a big decision to make.
