It looks as is everyone is ganging up on Scotland, because of their vested interests.

Cameron because he doesn't want the split with Scotland , Barosso because he doesn't want to see an influx of Countries opting out of the EU. Russia and the Ukraine PM have now agreed that the Ukraine can join the EU because of the massive reaction from the people .

Carney doesn't want the problem of one Currency for 2 Countries which would effectively happen if Scotland became independent. However, Scotland has Oil which is a good bargaining tool. The peoples vote will obviously be the deciding factor.
