Didn't we do well!!!!
Twelve Years a slave won best Picture, .....a British Director
Gravity 7 awards including Best sound etc. I saw an interview the other day with the Brit who was being nominated. He was explaining how he developed a sound effect when in fact there is no sound in Space.
The Film was made in two British Studios, all the technicians were British and it has been acknowledged for a while that Britain has the best skills and more and more Films are being made here.
Nice to report something good about Britain for a change.
