OFM FB are all over this like a rash.

We all wish for a positive outcome, but if events were to take a sinister turn, how long before the story gets whooshed from their Facebook page? I bet they're closely monitoring ...

chloes family  have already said  they think it is a family friend/known person  who took her

Same as Madeleine's Aunty Phil, Gerry McCanns sister, did!

Has there been a reconstruction how the abductor got in, and out with the child, through that sliding window?

Updated 13 minutes ago

Authorities have found a three-year-old girl at the centre of a major police investigation in south-east Queensland.

Chloe Campbell was reported missing from a home at Childers on Thursday morning.

Her disappearance sparked an extensive search and authorities issued a child abduction alert.

The child was located late this evening at the local showgrounds and is now in the care of the Queensland Police Service.

No other details are known at this stage.

A three-year-old girl who vanished from her bed overnight has been found alive and well.

Police feared Chloe Campbell had been snatched from her home in Childers, Queensland, after her father discovered her missing on Thursday morning.

Australian media are reporting that she is understood to have walked back to the house at around 1am local time (4pm UK time).

It is believed she has been taken to a nearby hospital to undergo checks.

Her father, Garth Campbell, had said Chloe, who normally sleeps in the living room, had vanished along with her sleeping bag and stuffed, blue toy dog.

He had said a window was open and that there was an adult-sized footprint on the family's car outside.

"I don't think there's any possible way she's wandered off," he said.

"She wouldn't leave the yard by herself."

He added that the family would normally have closed the windows at night, but that one of the latches must have failed to lock properly.

"That’s why we are blaming ourselves," he said.

What does it mean by a "showground", is that like a fair? Or a carnival? Cue the raggle-taggle child-snatching gypsies again, I suppose :(

On Google maps it looks like a park close to her home.

Happy to hear that little Chloe has been found!! According to Sky News (on line) "..she is thought to have walked back to her home - around 42 hours after her disappearance sparked a massive search". Again, according to Sky News, she returned around 1am local time. I find the "42 hours" and "1am" very disturbing though, as her father said she wouldn't leave the yard. The main thing of course is that she is alive, unlike Madeleine. I just hope that she is found to be unharmed.

She is NOT an 'Australian Maddie'

Wait a minute....

‘She carried that little blue toy with her everywhere,’ said a neighbour.

They don’t have a yard so [Chloe and her sisters] would always be playing on the road, and she’d have that little toy.

‘Wherever she is she would definitely have it with her.’

'I don't think there's any possible way she's wandered off,' Mr Campbell had told the media. 'She wouldn't leave the yard by herself.'

I'm very pleased that the wee soul has turned up alive and well, but there's a lot about this that is just not adding up.

Chloe Campbell is thought to have walked back to her home - around 42 hours after her disappearance sparked a massive search.
-----------------------------------------------

42 HOURS 'massive search' and she is found just 100-150 metres away?

Maybe she was 'removed' (family 'scam'?) but the publicity was too much and she was 'returned' to 'be found' just a 'few' (McCann 'McMetres' 'like being in our back garden') metres away.

Still, all was alright anyway, she could SEE the roof of her house from the 'show grounds'!

And, wee Chloe, 'had a clear line of sight of her parents'! (Philomena McCann)

Philomna McCann: "Gerry and Kate are in a clear line of sight of their kids".

(cos the super McCanns, unlike we mere 'mortals', can 'see' THROUGH solid walls of a building, into the kiddies room, you'll understand!)
----------------------------------------------------

Do we know if her 'sleeping bag' 'blanket' and cuddle ca 'toy' was found with her?

I have to believe there is still SO MUCH more to come to light. There is a report that Chloe's father had to be taken to hospital after being punched in the face (don't know by whom). If it is true that she spent her time at the "fairground", which appears to be fairly close to home and was searched early on, I wonder if police dogs were used to try to track Chloe's scent and if not, why not. Lots of until now, unanswered questions for investigators. I continue to hope that the child was found to be unharmed.
