We need Asylum

It appears that several of the Libyan military supposedly over here to be trained, and were arrested, charged, convicted and jailed for rape are now seeking asylum. On the grounds that they will be persecuted back in Libya for bringing the place into disrepute. Personally I thought they had done a good job of that themselves. Not content with that, they are using legal aid. Your money and mine. I cannot imagine any self respecting lawyer taking the money to represent them, enough is enough.

Cameron said in the H. of C. that any such claims of asylum would not be allowed, so what has changed from that? No one made them do it, no one forced them. they committed a crime, and my understanding of asylum claims is that in such a case, they be shipped out. In this case the British government cannot claim these scum had no papers and Libya will not take them back. We know who they are, and so does Libya. get them out!!

What about the human rights of the victims both male and female? Have they none? I don't care about the human rights of the rapists. they have none as far as I am concerned. It's a farce, get rid of them at once. It's the normal decent citizens of this country who need asylum. Sanctuary from the nutters who are running this country!!

Can anyone imagine anything more ghastly than a young girl, perhaps out with her boy friend/husband/children suddenly coming face to face with the slime that had raped her, and now settled in nicely on benefits, courtesy of HMG. I can't

I remember putting up a thread about this earlier this year or late last year, I cannot find it now.   They caused havoc in the barracks fighting and stealing knives from the canteen  to help them  with the fights. They even stole the broom handles to hit each other with.   They set fire to the barracks supermarket and wanted to buy a certain young attractive soldier for sex.   They went around the town assaulting women and gang raped a man.

I wish I could find that thread.   I remember at the time that they were sent back before their time was up and some claimed asylum then.  Others of course went to prison I presume, although you never know with the stupid human rights act.

Oh and they blamed it all on our government for not telling them what was right and wrong in the UK. Speaks volumes that does!

You're quite right fuzeta, they did claim that they had not been told it was wrong. That didn't wash then, and it won't now. Women are allegedly as pure as the driven snow in Islam, until married. So to violate a woman is wrong in their own religion, let alone the laws of the country. Since Islam requires it's followers to put Islam ahead of he country they live in, there is, and can be no contest

As for sodomizing a man, as some of them did. Isn't that what homosexuals do? Homosexuality is punishable by death in Islam, so once again,not being told it was wrong would be funny if it wasn't so serious.

Yes Badboy. Most religions make  that claim but you are right in that  Islam is even more  hot on it.

There was a documentary on Ch.4 the other day, in which one young man was absolutely "shocked" (or at least claimed to be) by the very idea. To claim that no one has told you something is wrong is idiotic. No one has specifically told me arson is wrong. Nor have I been told that it is wrong to burgle someone's house, or to rob and mug an old lady.Does that mean, I can go and do them?
