Digging to start NEXT WEEK!

That perfectly cut out hole would have needed some equipment to do it. People have said already that you would need a JCB to get through that ground.

Maybe it was cut for some purpose some time in the past (other than quickly hiding a body) They may probably find an explanation for this perfectly cut hole at some time or other. In the meantime they obviously have not found anything and keep looking at it in bewilderment. This has not improved my judgement of Andy who is still walking around looking thick as a plank

I know that there are 10,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire.
And though the holes are rather small, they had to count them all.

I have to say having holidayed around the Med that holes on waste ground awaiting development is not that unusual - quite often at the end of truncated services etc.

I wonder if the request for an extension has been made means that "something" significant has been found.

If they have found something, they have been pretty quick off the mark in finding it and must have very good intelligence.

Very well said Duncanmac, I agree with every word of your post. If Madeleine is buried underneath that scrubland, the McCanns dodgy private detectives should hang their heads in shame. All of them claimed Madeleine was still alive,one group even said she would be home by Christmas.

Dave Edgar, another of the McCanns dodgy private detectives, was a former senior police officer in a Northern Ireland police force. Edgar was as mouthy as Redwood, when it came to speaking to the media. He told the media, that he had passed leads on to the PJ and the PJ were sitting on these leads. Edgar was being paid to investigate Madeleine's disappearance and that included following leads that were given to him. If Edgar did pass on any leads to the PJ, I feel sure the PJ would have investigated them, if they had been credible leads.

Edgar told the media, that he believed Madeleine was being held in a lawless community 10km outside Praia da Luz. If this was true, whoever was holding her, would have got wind of Edgar's claims, because they were plastered all over the tacky tabloids in the UK and no doubt the information, would have found it's way into Portuguese newspapers.

Edgar and Redwood are two of a kind, Edgar was an incompetent police officer, it shows in the way he 'investigated' Madeleine's disappearance and mouthed off to the media. Redwood is an incompetent police officer, he has behaved in exactly the same way as Edgar. He and Edgar, know full well who is responsible for Madeleine's disappearance and both of them have ignored that fact.

Actually looking at footage yesterday, it was like Groundhog Day. The scrublands, GNR officers, (some very handsome I must say) and officers on horseback all searching just a few minutes away. Residents of Luz on tv being interviewed. Right back where it started.

It is of course about a missing little girl but over the years other issues have also become important, vindication for the PJ, acknowledgement of their honest, hard work and peace for the people of Praia da Luz.

What utter mayhem a bunch of despicable people have caused to so many.
