Qatar - Corrupt Third World Killers.

Post  Lioned on Mon 2 Jun - 16:22

Not just about football this and worth a slot here as it has wider repercussions.

It is emerging what a tin pot country this is.

The development of the stadia is under way and insufficient labour exists so they have to bring in migrant labour.

Already over 1000 men have died as a result of the construction process. This is by their own admission. It is estimated that by the time the construction and infrastructure is finished for the 2022 World Cup over 4000 workers are expected to have lost their lives for the payment of a pittance.

If you can find a decent restaurant in Qatar you can expect to pay around £15 for a bottle of wine. The waiter serving you will be earning around £15 per month.Sepp Blatter and his cronies at FIFA probably get £15 per minute ! (thats a guess so dont ask me to prove it yet).

Just as a matter of fact, during the construction of the Olympic village and the rest of the Olympic venues around the UK for 2012 not one single life was lost during the work.
That is a tribute to the hard work of the Unions and Organisers and skill of the workforce.

It is currently 115*F in Qatar, footballers are supposed to play for 90 mins + in that heat.

Everyone with any sense questioned the wisdom of the World cup being awarded to a country with shocking Human rights record and where homosexuality is still illegal.

Also Qatar has a dress code and wants tourists to dress according to their culture.

Not sure how many England fans will get out the country without getting stoned.
