Perhaps he's been murdered by his bodyguards.

I think Assad has done a runner fuzeta.........he hasn't been seen or heard of for months . His wife is English , he was I think educated in England and has a fortune . His Country is in ruins , invaded by the likes of ISIS and other factions and he has no control over what is happening.
