KM got neally 1m advance for the book!!!


Wonder how many she sold and if she managed to pay that advance back.

Or was that the money from the sales or the money for selling Madeleine to the sun newspaper.


That's the problem with this supposed audit, it isn't a breakdown of what had been spent and they dint have to that.


My management company don't do a full audit, all they send is what has been spent and use the word 'miscellaneous expenses' a lot .

Some income from newspapers, I use that term very loosely, and bewks has been made public knowledge so will have to be declared and they could go into great detail to give the impression of how transparent the accounts are.

Out of court settlements might not be known.

Donations aren't always known.

The expenses can be anything. The cost of the website was ludicrous and was very poorly done....it failed to work on the capcha/contact part. I checked this myself. I know people who would have produced a better website for £500. The running cost is determined by the number of accesses i.e. server useage. On topic or not , I must condone the Leicester Police for having the McCann website in their Missing Persons section when it had a Donate button. Freemasons do almost anything for a fellow freemason.

So, IMO, the submitted Account is just a token gesture and it is not possible to see a full picture. However, it is a rough picture which may come in useful when the M's lose the upcoming case with GA. I assume they will lose coz they haven't put forward any evidence to support their case. The pictures of them smiling at the church only a week after Madeleine went missing, in Amsterdam and other places indicate they are pretty happy with the way the review and investigations have gone or not gone as the case may be.
