Madeleine McCann detectives examine former suspect's pictures of children after Sunday People probe

Now why, at this particular time, would Sunday People be "probing" this guy and in Warsaw at that. I can't see the "resemblance" mentioned in the story, Tannerman doesn't even have a face.

I can't help but think this article was instigated by McCann representatives to divert attention from the massive success of the Legal Defence Fund and the overwhelming gratitude of Mr. Amaral and his request that it now be closed because he has sufficient resources to continue his current appeal.

The article is full of contradictions and ambiguity. For example, the sketch of Tanner Man is produced, alongside a photo of Wojciech Krokowsk in profile so the hair looks similar, but then it says that the police ruled him out.

The journalist states that Wojciech Krokowsk likes photographing children. Aha, says Mirror reader, a paedo, but the man's own statement says he says, “I take ­photos of old people, young people, landscapes and I have a lot of pictures from places like Thailand, Greece, Portugal, France, with kids on them."

It seems that the article is designed to draw attention to this man as a suspect, while pretending to offer a balanced viewpoint.

If they can paint cancer riddled wheelchair bound Raymond Hewlett as the potential abductor who smuggled a 3 year old child out of a window without leaving the slightest shred of actual evidence, why not offer up a camera buff as a fit for the next frame?

Yep, I could believe they'd do that. However, if he has lots of photos from that week which feature children it would be interesting if there are groups from the crèche which don't have Maddie in them and/or images of the McCann family on their family walkabouts without Maddie. Maybe some photos round the pool when the "last photo" was supposed to have been taken. I live in hope!

Well Anna, since they deny ever having the use of pushchair, cameras and wearing watches which would qualify their planned time set, despite the existence of photographs which testify to the opposite being true..... so yes, I would think you are living in hope, as are we all......
