Concerned, Carrie took her daughter to the doctor that diagnosed with invasive secretory carcinoma.
Earlier this month the girl went through a mastectomy, operation for the extraction of the breast.
The cancer, however, is spread to a node and Hannah has to go through another operation, or by treatment of radiotherapy.
The story of the girl drew the attention of media and American public.
The child's parents - Carrie and Jeremy - have created a site, www.ourlittlesweetpea.com, which describes the daily battle against cancer and promote campaigns to raise funds for the treatment of her daughter.

Hannah's mother, Carrie, told the American press about his surprise on receiving the diagnosis: "It should be the last thing on her head. Girls of 10 years do not have breast cancer.
With the onset of cancer, Hannah decided to become an example to other children their age to talk with parents about any changes that perceive the body.
The family also praised the positive attitude that has kept the girl in front of the disease. But according to the mother, what she wants now is back to school and be a "normal kid".
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women, according to World Health Organization, and each year are diagnosed more than 1.2 million cases worldwide.
Experts, however, remind the American press that the disease is extremely rare among children and warned that over-attention given to the case can cause unnecessary fear among parents.
