News flash Arrest in PC Blakelock murder

BBC reports 40 y/o man arested in relation ship to the murder of PC Blakelock. He was Murdered 20 years ago in riots.

I recall a guy getting convicted, the relased on appeal, winston sillcott, IIRC.

Winston Silcott, a man of respectablity, paid a vast sum off money for being wrongly accused off murdering the police officer.


Still, you cant blame the police for thinking it was him, after all, he was out on bail for murdering someone else!

Did you know, the murdered police officer was neally decapitated?

I thought it was about 25 years ago which makes this 'man' 15 at the time.Blakelock was attacked by a gang of youths at least one with a machette.
There can be very little doubt that many residents of that estate knew who killed him but have remained silent all this time,up till now maybe.
So this may well prove that there is no 'hiding place' just a matter of time when people will eventually talk.(mccanns read and weep)

I would put money on Winston having served more time since his payout, he wasn't a nice bloke (understatement of the year!)
