It will be interesting to hear the judges reasons for not lifting ,i cannot see a justification for the decision .

I Hope the judge says this, as long as she states the case SHOULD be re-opened to clear up everything l'll be happy.

Me too! We need to wait for the reasons why the Judge upheld the injunction.
Amaral will be supported all the way to European Court of Justice if needs be.

Well, the ban may be upheld, but what has emerged in the press is enough to convince most that the McCanns have a case to answer.

Will Sr Amaral have a press conference, or is he to be silent forever?

Wait, I have a different reading: nobody won the case, because other channels can comment Amaral's theory.

How can we know if this is definitely true. I'm not saying it isn't but I would like definite confirmation.

it is good that they appeal. They can't pay everybody off

I may be a little controversial, but I think (without benefit of hearing the reasons as yet) that the judge may have been correct.

I think the libel case needs to be proved/disproved before the temporary injunction is lifted, unless Sr Amaral 100% proved his case to the judges satisfaction. Which I think is difficult in temporary injunction hearings, because by their very nature not all evidence that either side may have is revealed. That will usually come at a permanent injunction hearing, or more likely in this case, at the Libel trial.

I am a little disappointed for poor Sr Amaral - because now he has to fight again and I wish him every luck with it - in principle he is on the right side, I truly believe that.

Early Spring apparently for the full hearing, so hopefully the poor man will not have to wait long. He has more to say, I am sure of it. I would not be at all surprised if his Lawyers are advising him carefully which information to use at which stage.

Some people have posited that its all in his plan. The more hearings there are, the more he will be able to reveal. I would not be at all surprised if this theory was correct.
