THE BABY PETER TRIBUTE FUND

Post  Guest on Tue 30 Mar - 10:56

THE BABY PETER TRIBUTE FUND is an official NSPCC fund that was set up in November 2008 by Louise Harvey. The aim of the fund is to raise funds and awareness of the NSPCC as a lasting tribute to Baby Peter. He has touched the hearts of so many of us and will never be forgotten.

Please help us prevent this from happening again by supporting the NSPCC. Our target is to raise £30,000.

OUR CURRENT FUND TOTAL STANDS AT:

£28,013.68

You're one click away from doing something really special!'

I will donate too. Is there a paypal button which I can't see? I got as far as agreeing to donate but can't see how I get my donation to the fund.

I have mixed feelings about this. The NSPCC have never come out up front and said straight out, that the McCanns were wrong to abandon their children night after night. All I have ever seen them do is squirm out of giving a straight answer on this one; why???

For that reason alone I am reluctant to donate anything more to them. Also, the aim of the fund is to raise funds and awareness of the NSPCC - in other words, the money will be going on publicity and marketing - not actually helping vulnerable children.

This is looking more and more like the McCann's "fund" to me, but with Baby Peter's name on it, which I find quite sickening, actually.

Well made point Grouse, they should have castigated the Mccanns for their behaviour.
