Kate……..Hey gerry I just read on facebook I’m gonna get an award in the Queens speech !

Gerry…….Nah, that’s not fair I aint got an award since them cops all stood up and give me an Ovation.

Kate…….Its true I’m telling ya.There even talking about it on MM so it must be true.

Gerry… I’m gonna ring clary and see what he thinks !

Gerry … hey Clarence is it true kates gonna get knighted ?

Clary… don’t know gez,I’ll have to phone Piers and see what he’s heard.

Clary….. hey Piers you heard anything about sugar tits– I mean kate getting knighted ?

I actually felt that Karen Matthews put on a better show of being genuine than you-know-who!

Good question! With the best will in the world Karen can't be described as intelligent but cunning - certainly. As for the divine Mrs M I'd say she's both but that of course says nothing about her moral integrity.

The cunning think, speak and act in cold blood.

The intelligent, by dint of that innate quality, cannot and would not.

Matthews isn't that stupid after all, she knew full well that the mccanns were faking an abduction and getting away with it so SHE decided to give it a go and see how much money she could rake in.



Makes you wonder, a person with a very low IQ can see through the mccanns yet ALL the British papers and the British government Including cameron with his first class degree....CAN'T.

Who knows whether or not Karen Matthews thought the McCann case was genuinely one of stranger abduction? It could simply be that she had seen how generously people had responded to the appeal for funds and decided to have a go herself.

At the time (back in February 2008) I only knew what the mainstream media was printing about the McCanns and so I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. I take my hat off to everybody who had sussed them out long before then!

Intelligence doesn't always negate having cunning, deviousness or even cold bloodedness.

I think the McCanns are at least as devious and cunning as anyone else - and in my opinion they are narcissistic and self absorbed - wow could I go on!.

I don't think it at all helpful that their seemingly incessant need to keep themselves (That's "themselves", not "Madeleine") in the public eye distracts the less perceptive members of the public from other missing children.

Yes, I can see where you're coming from, and the McCanns would certainly qualify taking into account their propensity for the assimilation, memorisation and utilisation of scientific data, otherwise no medical degree!
I was thinking perhaps that overall intelligence has component parts.
For instance, one wonders how would they score with linguistic intelligence (ability with the spoken or written word), interpersonal intelligence (interacting and cooperating with others, sensitivity to and empathy with those others), intrapersonal intelligence (understanding of the self and one's strengths and weaknesses0 or even an existential/spiritual and moral intelligence (which explains itself).

Maybe an argument could be made that despite the capacity for learning and reasoning which might apply in one or two components, it is sadly lacking in others, leaving a huge question mark re overall intelligence.

JMO, but what we are witnessing in this case is extreme cunning combined with a marked deficiency in overall intelligence.
Which is why whatever happened, happened.
Which coloured, and is still colouring their choices and decisions.
And which meant that said decisions were/are being made without reference to the effects/consequences heaped callously upon others.

To be honest, it ain't THEM that is stupid, it the general public!

I don't even think the general public are stupid they are just uneducated in truth of the McCann case. Between the McCanns well known use of expensive PR and equally expensive libel lawyers why would the ordinary man in the street have a chance to read the real story and compare their media interviews with the facts in the statements.
