Rooney is in trouble again for supposedly partying against Alex Ferguson"s orders. He has been fined 1 week"s wages and a one match ban . I can"t
remember how many bans since he renegotiated his Wages a few months ago , but Alex must be ruing the day he didn"t just let him go.

His wages are...wait for it...£200,000 A WEEK!!!!!!! Obscene by any standard and I doubt whether any Club will want to buy him now.

There is a rumour that Alex Ferguson is ready to sell Rooney because he let the Team down badly by Partying on New Years Eve against
explicit orders from Ferguson for all the Team to have an early night . Who would want to buy him though?

Both have denied the rumour but the Club"s Owners must be p***ed off with him.

I'm sure there is something in the rumors Panda, imo United probably happy to get rid while they can get some £££ for him, I think he is a lose canon his skills have dropped of late, I think Fergy has got fed up of him, also he isn't worth £200K not by any footy standards.

Hi Lillyof the valley, MU could have been top of the League but for him. Rooney is a loose cannon now and with the Economy the way it is,
MU will be lucky to get their money back . I feel sorry for the baby in all this, Coleen is trying to make a name for herself in the Fashion
World and to be honest, I never understood why she took him back.

Yes Claudia, Mourinho would not have accepted Rooney"s behaviour and never have agreed a new Contract to pay him £200,000 A WEEK.

Hi Lillyofthevalley

Rooney has just not grown up, in a way he was feted at a young age, to earn all that money allowed him to indulge in his apparent
penchant for older Women so has no respect for his paymasters , team-mates or Wife. Too much too soon.

Rooney denies red card role

United star says he did not wave red card in Kompany dismissal

Wayne Rooney: Accused of getting Vincent Kompany sent off in Sunday's derby

Wayne Rooney has fervently denied Roberto
Mancini's accusations regarding the Manchester United striker's role in
Vincent Kompany's red card.

Manchester City captain Kompany was on Sunday ordered off after
just 12 minutes of a pulsating FA Cup third round tie at the Etihad
Stadium, which United eventually won 3-2.

He committed a two-footed challenge on Nani, and Rooney admits he had
his say to Foy over the tackle, much to the annoyance of City boss
Mancini.

But United striker Rooney, named on Monday in the FIFPro World XI at FIFA's Ballon d'Or awards ceremony, said in The Sun: "I didn't wave any imaginary card.

"I clearly pointed out, and a few other players did as well, that it
was a two-footed tackle. It was down to the ref to send him off.

"As professional footballers, when you leave the ground and go in
two-footed we've now been told by the referees it's a red card. Refs
come and see us before the season starts. I felt Kompany had done that."

Kompany faces a four-match suspension, having already been sent off
this season, although City lodged an appeal after the match and were
hoping on Tuesday to have the ban overturned at a hearing.
