A DEGREE OF INFLUENCE

Bearing in mind the current prolems in the Middle East, there was an excellent Article in the Sunday Express recently about how our best known
Universities are taking money from Middle East Countries , particularly Iran and Saudi Arabia in return for which, these Countries are allowed to choose
appointees on the management committees and dictate on some subjects being taught. Robin Simcox the Author of a book "a Degree of Influence"
says it is nonsense for the Universities to say they have to do this because of cuts, they have been doing this for decades. He says, "nothing comes for nothing. the Universities have to wake up and start thinking about who they take cash from."

Food for thought when it is estimated that in two generations Muslim children will outnumber children from the West by 2 to 1.
