Knox V McCanns

Knox was aquitted on a technicality. Call me old fashioned but if l was accused of murder l'd want to be free because l was innocent not because evidence wasn't looked after properly or some such minor detail.

Can't wait for Knox to be interviewed, lets see how she can explain HER footprint in Merediths blood UNDERNEATH Merediths body, plus other bloodied footprints of hers.

She can't, IMO she quite literally got away with murder.

Hi Dimsie, I haven't been following the Amanda Knox case and I can only imagine how Meredith's parents must be feeling after Monday's verdict. RIP Meredith.

I have followed the McCann case since the news of Madeleine's disappearance broke. While I wouldn't want anyone to be prosecuted and found guilty of any crime, if they hadn't done it, the McCanns did commit a crime, a crime of neglect, when they left their 3 children unsupervised all but one night of that so called family holiday.

If Madeleine was abucted or simply walked out of the McCanns apartment, to look for her parents, then the McCanns crime of neglect was made more serious and if they couldn't be jailed for neglect, they certainly should have been jailed because Madeleine disappeared while they were out, if they were speaking the truth about her abduction.

We all know there was no evidence an abduction took place, but Goncalo Amaral and his successor, both came to the conclusion Madeleine was harmed in the McCanns apartment. That in itself was not enough to bring about a prosecution case against the McCanns, but the PJ certainly could have prosecuted the McCanns for neglect/child abandonment.

Goncalo Amaral said the PJ would have prosecuted the McCanns, if the British Government hadn't stepped in. The point is, why did the British Government step in to stop the McCanns from being prosecuted? Why did all these high profile people offer their support to the McCanns, they didn't offer it to Karen Matthews before it was established that she was also involved in her daughter Shannon's disappearance.

As far as I know, Karen Matthews and her accomplice are still languishing in jail, not for taking part in Shannon's disappearance, but for trying to extract money fraudulently. The difference between the cases of Karen Matthews and the McCanns is, Shannon was found safe but traumatised and Karen Matthews and her accomplice received no money. Madeleine is still missing, the McCanns have received money which is supposed to be used to find Madeleine, but they and their extended family can also use this money.

The book was quite rightly thrown at Karen Matthews so why wasn't it thrown at The McCanns? I know they committed their crime in Portugal, but the British Government got them off the hook. Why. Who are the McCanns that they can commit such a serious crime and walk free?

I would like to ask her.....the third person supposedly heard you and meredith arguing about that you stole from her.....meredith had confided in her friends that you stole money from her room, they and YOU only knew about this...dont you think it a strange coincidence that this man also KNEW that the argument was over money going missing...you could off been arguing about anything but it was about something he could NOT off known about.


Why wasnt their any DEFENCE marks on Meredith?

Why is she calling meredith a 'friend' when friends off meredith say she wasnt.

I was thinking the same thing about Knox. That is: that she will slip up and say something that will incriminate her.

I wonder if the Knox family are as deep in debt as they claim to be...

As I say....plenty to occupy yourself in the day ......but watch out for the demons when the lights go out.

Either they owe a million pound to lawyers etc or not as many people supported them as they say.

Well nobody has any way of knowing how much money has been donated to them by the public. It's not transparent. My guess is that with the sheer size of america, even if only a small percentage of people believed in Amanda Knox's innocence, it wouldn't be too difficult to drum up a lot of money.
