NoStone! Mea Culpa.
I've just changed it and think on the whole is correct sequence now. I'd already been told! Must try harder..
They're great name droppers, yes the diary is a total fake.
Just had a thought on the philomena quote here - went through the interviews with her and imo she must have had a crib sheet sent by Gerry, it's all Gerry's words and way of talking in many statements, whenever Philomena says something off the cuff, it sounds quite different.

WTF Just how can they say that after trying to get Google to change they're logo

Ok thanks Tigger! I wonder how Seaun developed his taste for sea bass and how did he express it? Perhaps he'd had a sea food platter one lunch and picked up a craving for it! So did the Mc'S cook Sea Bass for him every night so he was maxed out on it or did they serve it at the creche??

Had the intention been to show it to the general public, it may have 'jogged' memories and encouraged people to come forward with information.
Hang on a minute. I'm sure I saw them saying in a TV interview that they didn't like the idea of a reconstruction, because they couldn't see how the media could be kept away? Does anyone else remember this?
Doesn't she mean when actually going through the reconstruction she didn't want the media there? Why did they need the date that the reconstruction was to start and that it would turn into a circus if the media frenzy was there whilst they were doing it. I think after it would have been completed they would have then wanted it published to the media.
Well, yes.... I take the point that a media frenzy would be totally inappropriate, but I hardly think the police would have allowed the media to be all over the reconstruction scene. As Dermot Murnaghan points out, the reconstruction would have meant more footage ... and more footage means widening awareness of Madeleine's disappearance ... one of their 'key objectives'.
That's what I think there concern was, they didn't see HOW the police could have kept the media away. I'm not defending them, media or no media I would have done it straightway!

Re: 17th June... Kate's diary
hiya velvet, i would have also. the PJ have many reserves available to them. the McCs and the T7 could have slipped quietly into Portugal if they had so wanted. Kate has said she has been back a few times, which werent reported in the media, so its possible that it could be done all people have to do is not tell anyone or ask any one
especially Stu. Really interesting that the PJ say its important but Stu says there is little advantage so no one goes. How do Crimewatch do these things. when they do their reconstructions do they advise the media and say stay away. just asking. jimo

Thanks, Philomena.... I didn't realise the police suspected they'd 'dug up' Madeleine's body.
Oooh, another one to add to my list of "questions answered before anybody has actually asked them".

Could you start a topic on that?
There are so many instances and I'd never thought of it like that, but wow! Questions answered before etc.
Going through PM's interviews, do you think some of the stuff was emailed to PM? Because often she doesn't just quote Gerry or 'tell it in her own words' it's actually Gerry talking through his mouthpiece. Imo she'd never use many of those words herself.

Completely agree with you and noticed the same thing when reading the transcripts of her interviews on McCann files. Sticking to the 'official line'. Not that she managed it terribly successfully.

Unlike the 'Official TM Line', the truth is not a variable and would require no posh words or effort on Kate's part to stick to or manage.Wintabells wrote:tigger wrote: Because often she doesn't just quote Gerry or 'tell it in her own words' it's actually Gerry talking through his mouthpiece. Thank you for the welcome AnnaEsse. I have a lot to contribute to this scam, if its the last thing I ever do in life is to expose the mccanns and their cronies..Its sick and infuriating and I need to be amongst people who feel the same way
