Re: New Career Opportunities/TEXTUSA
Textusa has made a great point here. Basically he is stating that there is a paid contingent to spread disinformation & dishearten those who seek the truth for Madeleine.
One of the comments below the article referred to a department of a government agency Wilton Park "Research, Information and Communications Unit" (RICU)
Interestingly the name is all I can actually find about this on the Wilton Park site.
http://www.wiltonpark.org.uk/en/partnerships/brit-gov-dept
A bit more about Wilton Park
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilton_Park
So perhaps Greenink does work in "Online Interaction and Abuse"
ETA The Wikipedia page has been altered several times by someone calling themselves "Wilton-park-authentic" & their sole purposes has been to remove things they might not want & put a positive spin on what's left.

Thanks Gillyspot. I can never understand what Textusa is on about. Wish he/she would get to the point rather than going round a thousand houses.

Re: New Career Opportunities/TEXTUSA
its something that many of us suspected from the start, maybe linked to Sarah Browne Company to employ people to change peoples beliefs about different things. and maybe include the parents of Madeleine in that. there is so much "positive" about them being put out. I seemto remember one article that went on about people who disbelieved them being jealous of their looks (never never never), money (didnt the public give it to them because they couldnt pay their mortgage) and status (as parents who allegedly neglected their children). I accept there are people who believe this and quote the same things. Am I surprised, no.

Re: New Career Opportunities/TEXTUSA
People who are overly concerned with looks, money and "status" , eh?
Sounds like their putative clients!
We normal people are concerned primarily with health, contentment, family and other non-material facets of life.
So it looks like the strategy is wrong if they are trying to influence shallow folk - by definition we are not shallow as we have taken a lot of time and trouble to look beyond mere Media reports and protestations by the former Arguidos etc. and instead have weighed each aspect carefully against the available intelligence.
A case of tarring everyone with their clients' own brush?

From Lorraine Kelly interview 28/4/2010 courtesy of McCannfiles.com

In the light of the Textusa article this is interesting: Kate is saying that anti-McCanns (I prefer pro-Maddie) are getting paid to spread misinformation.
Is that because she knows that others are being paid to do the opposite? 'this is their job really' is a very strange comment.
