Nowt to do with Maddie,but strange.

Is anyone getting Access denied on items the post on fb,ie,music videos?I am getting it in the last two days and its annoying,but is it something sinister. Thanks.

Steve, what's fb? is it a free download? If so, it might no longer be free which is why you are getting access denied.
Sorry about that. I am a complete dunce when it comes to knowing how a computer works . As I type I have been having a problem for a few days , "Internet explorer cannot connect , then half the page comes up , forumotion unable to connect" then "webpage has expired" so i wait a minute of so and press "refresh" and the page I wanted comes up no problem. anyway, I will have to get my Computer guy to check it out , but all this rambling is not helping you though, hope some Member will be able to help.

UUM, how do I do that??? I tell you what I did do yesterday, searched "computer speeds " because this is quite slow and it turns out sky, who I recently changed to has only 5mb in my Area, virgin has 14 !!!

There should be a Reset Button or you can just unplug it from the mains for a minute or so then plug it back in. It'll then take two or three minutes to sort itself out.

Thanks TEIN.....0.13?????? Whose your Broadband Provider? Even the Post office, latest to join the list is 4Mbps.

I tried Amazon today and it wouldn't let me into my basket with 3 items in it, so I gave up everything else on my iPad is working fine.

When I got my first computer I was having a minor problem and called my service provider for technical support. I was told, "you'll have to reboot your router". I replied, "OMG, I don't know what you are talking about, I'll have to get a serviceman in to do that". It was then explained to me to just unplug the computer, wait 30 seconds, plug it in again and start over. I felt like an idiot at the time, but we live and learn.

Doesn't matter who the Provider is as they all use the same BT Wholesale ADSL Delivery system round here. Ancient copper wire miles from the Exchange! Change Provider means same service. Like Elastictrickery - same wires and other kit, just different pricing.

Thanks Kitti,that is what I am getting,I just wonder has it anything to do with the mcs,I am only only getting it the last two days as well.
I have clicked on the items After I posted the on fb and they wont play but if I do it freestyle they will.Not liking it at all.

Cherry I can pull the pj files no bother,can you acess them by fb aswell,

hi cherry1, i could get the PJFiles but my hotmail is not working. I can read but can't write or send. Does anyone know if hotmail is acting all queer at the moment.

hi Steve, I couldnt get them using Internet explorer, didnt know you can access them by fb as well.


cant help you with hotmail want the truth as dont have that.

Hi cherry/steve. My hotmail is working again. I turned the computer off and then back on, and it's OK. Apparently they are updating to outlook or something and others have had problems. Perhaps tonight was a problem, or perhaps turning off then on worked. Who knows, I hate technology and we're all so dependent on it now. The pros and cons

Hi kitti, I can get the files no problem. just googling McCann:JPFiles and opening pages. Do you close your computer down completely between sessions or leave it running. Maybe it's worth closing it all down and re-opening 2 minutes later. It helped me with the hotmail. Just guessing, I'm not IT competent in any stretch of the imagination. Maybe the computer had time to clear its head in that little break.

AT CHERRY. Ha,I didnt mean you could get them by fb,I just thought when we were trying to get links you were doing it by fb,cos you couldnt do it through internet explorer, which I dont use,,,sorry for the false info.xx
