Shhh…

Observant readers will note that the silence surrounding the abducted libel trial now is of exactly the same nature as the silence surrounding the “negotiations over a settlement” that were supposed to have taken place at the beginning of last year. As the intelligence services maybe used to say, you learn a lot more about people by their silences than by what they say. All sides in the McCann affair use selective silence.

True. Blacksmith's silences are far more eloquent than what he says.
