Aye, in a Parallel Universe, maybe!
Rosiepops has a best friend who told her beforehand, the same 'best friend' who hopped it to madiera!!

Dimsie wrote:Wonderful news! As for the 'despondent' people on another forum, what's wrong with them? Have they forgotten that the Portuguese case concerns a murdered child and the despicable way her body was treated? Is trying to destroy Dr Amaral by any means more important than justice for that child? More important than punishment for those involved in that crime?
Does no child matter to these people? Not little Joana and not Madeleine. All that seems to matter to them are the adults - no matter how evil or negligent, these adults must be protected and feted, while the children are forgotten about.
It takes a special type of evil to spit on the grave of a dead child.
I find it astonishing how they casually dismissed the little portuguese child in all of this, like she is of no significance. All they give a damn about is the McCanns. Nothing or nobody else is even considered. They're starting to resemble a strange cult imho.

Thank you for bringing this excellent piece of news.
It appears that Rosiepops and the Mad Lawyer are still working hard together to cause trouble.
What a fearsome combination Rosiepops and the Mad Lawyer are.

The same mad lawyer who supposedly got her the confidential papers regarding sofia's complaint.

Sorry not to be very familiar with Portuguese law. Can the judge's decision to dismiss the case be appealed against ?

You mean..appeal against the judges decision in this appeal?
I should think you would have to wait to do another appeal, dont know how long.

The article in CdM says that Gonçalo Amaral is not going to trial. So, I believe that this is the end of the complaint because it had gone through the "fase de instrução" and there can be no appeals. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

This is brilliant news - but without appearing too stupid can I just ask if this decision overturns the verdict that found Amaral guilty last year, of is this another case relating to the Ciprianos?

I believe he was found guilty of incorrect paper work,or failure to fill in some paperwork, but someone will need to either confirm that or I'll try and find out for sure.

Re: Compliant regarding Cipri-case has been DISMISSED today, 17.3.10
mancmum this case which was chucked out was different one to the one he got found guilty of falsifying paperwork - that was in relation to some pj officers allegedly torturing the mother, (and that case is going to appeal i've read) this case was a complaint bought (years later i may add) by her husband - said he was beaten by mr amaral
