Thanks annabel I've not seen this article.
It makes me mad! I'm still not convinced
there was any neglecting!
As many have said, its the Mccann agenda
that promotes this stance.
I really do believe that this was a lie to
cover up a crime which didn't involve leaving
a few kids alone.

It would appear that Chris Friend hasn't read the files though & the fact he failed to pick up Kate's stating that Madeleine's much publicised so called coloboma was "just a fleck" & "we haven't made too much of it" shows he isn't aware of the media coverage.

still an interesting read though & thanks as I'd not read it before.

I have the interview with Piers Morgan, audio, apart from the few clips available, if anyone would like to listen to it

There`s a word for KM`s attitude and voice and I just can`t think of it at the moment. It describes someone who is oh so sweet and innocent, palsy-walsy, but who you know is actually the complete opposite. And, sorry HiDeHo, but I just cannot risk my blood pressure going up at this time of night.

I don't want to chance my blood pressure at any time of the day or night. I can just about stand listening to Gerry but there's something about Kate's voice which has me, a normally quite placid person, frothing at the mouth and wanting to punch everything inanimate in sight.

I read transcripts wherever possible.

To be honest Piers ...........

The word I was looking for is Disingenuous - meaning "giving a false appearance of simple frankness".

Then fact that Tony Bennett is going to court and may be jailed for Insinuating that the mccanns neglected the children and yet the mccanns have admitted they did, is a farce.


Also, Mitchell and the newspapers saying people are HATERS if they dare say the mccanns neglected there children.....something very odd here...accusing being off being ghouls for repeating the mccanns admission.

I must have a thing about high blood pressure!!!! I have DVD recordings of the Oprah interview, the Piers Morgan interview and the mockumentary. Talk about a glutton for punishment!!!! I also feel like punching anything in sight (with the exception of OH, two cats and the dog) when I listen to the whiney noise which passes for Gerry's voice and the nasal scouse twang which Kate has

I also have a DVD recording of the Oprah Winfrey show. What a squirmfest when the Mc's were asked to take Oprah through the events of that fateful night... the story being totally unconvincing from start to finish Oprah's demeanour was decidedly cool and distant by the conclusion of the show!
