Anybody in the UK had a dry day since hose pipe bans started on 5th April? (I only ask as I have been waiting about 20 odd days to get my windows painted). Hose Pipe Bans 29204 Is the announcement of a hose pipe ban the 21st century equivalent of a rain dance?

Seems to be raining nearly every day, luckily though i am not in a hose ban area as yet.
