Well I guess the underlying desired effect will be to generate lots of 'Aww, Ain't That Nice' coverage for the tabloids (at the expense of other worthy participants) as 'Brave Kate' puts on a 'Brave Smile' and 'takes a break from her tireless searching' ...... jeez, I could almost write the article meself ...

Well the holiday season approaches and money will be needed, someone has to pay for their holidays after all.

She is running this for Missing Children...................whilst no doubt hoping for publicity to boost the fund.

I suppose somebody had to replace Jimmy Savile as the resident London Marathon Sleb.

The event is not until late April , what was the last date for the Parties to reach agreement?

Very true. If it were me l would put my money where my mouth is and MATCH any donations l received. After all she's put £500k aside without any other money already in the company accounts.*

Notice Kate started the fundraising very early? Another 6 weeks ...what if the Trial date is set for a couple of days before the Marathon, would it be Kate's excuse for not going to Portugal so Gerry would be on his own?

Let's hope that when she starts running she forgets to stop.

I thought this event was for charity. Not for the funds of private companies. or have the rules changed.

She's running for the Missing People charity, MaryB.

We had the Fanfare of Kate becoming an Ambassador for Missing Children and the photoshoot of her beside a Poster , but nothing since. Do we know who is organising the Charity run and where it is to start and finish.?
