Memories of the Lockerbie bombing
I've just watched a programme on ITV regarding the 25th anniversary of the bombing. I can't get the ITV player link to work but anyone who would like to see it will be able to find it easily anyway.
I don't suppose we'll ever know the truth of how many people were responsible for that atrocity.
I remember that the news came through on TV just after I'd watched a film about the singer Patsy Cline who ironically died in a plane crash.

I drove up to Scotland with my brother for New Year that year and I recall vividly the scene driving past. There was just a large hole in the area adjoining the road as evidence that something awful had happened there.
