Silly wee bitch STILL lying through her teeth, trying to get her 15 minutes of fame. The amount of embroidery on this story now is really quite astonishing.

Why don't they just admit they made a mistake and were pissed and accept the police were only looking after their childs welfare.

After all, the police didn't just turn up out off thin air, they turned up because other holiday makers informed them and were scared for the child because off the drunken state they were in

Lots of embroidery, yes. And (mixing metaphors) an over-egged pudding if ever I saw one.
Yet still leaving out a lot of the detail they wouldn't want mentioned.

Examples:
That the mother complained to the hotel manager about the father and said that the child was missing.
That the baby was in the bar with the father who was drinking.
That the couple were verbally abusing each other and accusing each other of being drunk.
That the GNR were called to the scene because hotel staff and guests - both Portuguese and foreign - feared the child was at risk.
That police had been called twice to the hotel as a result of the parents’ behaviour - once to take the child to hospital, and the second time because the child’s father had started to “cause trouble”.

But here's the nitty-gritty:
This story is a MONTH old. And curiously it is being dragged up AGAIN. With its usual references to Madeleine McCann, and the familiar ritual of the trashing and bashing of the Portuguese police.
But hey, we know the score - we know how it all works.
So if this Belfast rag is attempting to fool anyone, they'd better try another planet.

I have no idea why the comparison is made with the McCanns by this "journalist".

The police did not take Madeleine, she was already gone.
Kate and Gerry were not distraught at their "treatment", ever. Plenty of photographs of smiling Kate and Gerry.
They lost no money, in fact they made a significant amount of cash whilst in Portugal.
Kate and Gerry said they never used Calpol. Something much stronger IMO, but definitely not calpol

So aside from two sets of neglectful parents, looking for five minutes of fame after a drinking holiday, I cannot see any similarities.
