Perimenopause Empty Perimenopause

Hello ladies....just wondering if anyone has been told they are starting perimenopause (as opposed to the full blown menopause)and been given any advice on how to ease the symptoms. For the past couple of months I've been getting anxiety/panic, which has been particulary bad this week coinciding with the time of the month, when I've also had sudden tearfulness too. Looking on the internet, my age (44) seems to be a common time for perimenopause to start, and seems to be associated with all my symptoms. I can't bear the thought of this getting increasingly worse each month, and just wondered if anyone can recommend any natural remedies, vitamin supplements, particular foods etc which may take the edge of it. (Being a natural worrier anyway, I'm panicking about an article in yesterdays paper about a woman whose anxiety/depression got so bad during the menopause she committed suicide). Oh, I'm not depressed by the way, just suffer bad anxiety but don't want it to lead to depression. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
