Allan is 5ft 6in tall, of slim build. He has short fair/strawberry blond hair and when last seen he was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jacket, cargo-style jeans and green wellington boots. Allan has various celtic design tattoos on his right arm.

The girlfriend of a Celtic fan missing in the Borders has made a heartfelt appeal for information, six days after he disappeared.

Allan Graham from Earlston was last seen walking near the River Tweed in the Bemersyde area on Good Friday. He has not answered his phone since and has failed to contact any friends of family. A police search has so far proved fruitless.

Now, the 26-year-old's partner and her best friend have set up a Facebook group appealing for information which has so far attracted more than 2,500 members.

On Wednesday, Catriona Biggar posted a message to her boyfriend on the social networking site, saying: "I know you don't have Facebook honey but if you can see this please just give me a text or a call. I love you so bloody much it's tearing me apart. Love you always and forever you cheeky git. Please come home."

She also thanked members of the site who had posted pledges to hand posters or leaflets with Allan's photo, saying: "Still no news but as the saying goes, no news is good news.

"The poster is now being put up in local shops, pubs etc. Please, please, if you can print this out and put up somewhere. I want him home. So do our families and friends.

"Thank you all so much for your support."

The 21-year-old, who has been in a relationship with Allan for more than a year, said she had set up the page in the hope that someone would come forward with information which would help find him. She said: "I am frantic with worry. He has never done anything like this before.

“He is such a happy go-lucky guy and enjoys being out with his mates. It’s completely out of character for him.

“I want him back and all his friends and neighbours want him back and to know he is safe. I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with the police.”

Allan was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jacket, cargo style jeans and green Wellington boots when he went missing. He is not thought to have been carrying any bank cards or money.

He is described as five foot six inches tall, with short fair hair and stubble, and he has two celtic tattoos.
