The partner of a Portishead woman who disappeared from her home has made an emotional appeal for her to come home for Christmas.
Selina McDonald, 35, disappeared from the home she shares with partner Leo Coleing, 41, at Phoenix Way on December 3. She was last seen heading towards the Royal Hotel in Pier Road at around noon on December 5.
Selina, a mother of one, used to visit the beach regularly for a stroll.
Police discovered her mobile phone, purse and an amount of medication at the beach on December 5. Mr Coleing, who is in the Bristol Royal Infirmary recovering from a stomach operation, said he was desperate to have his girlfriend back home for Christmas.
Speaking from his hospital bed, he said: "She left our flat on the Thursday evening at around 9pm and said she was going for a walk up to the beach.
"She had been in a bit of a weird mood during the day but she often went off to meet friends, so initially I didn't panic.
"Then the police found some of her stuff, including her phone and purse on the beach and that was when I started to get worried."
Despite numerous appeals for Selina to return home, she has not got in contact with police or her boyfriend.
Mr Coleing, an unemployed painter and decorator, added: "I am so worried about her and both her daughter Inca and I and all her friends are very worried, distressed and upset.
"I miss her and love her and desperately want her to come home.
"We have always had a loving relationship and I have no idea why she has disappeared like this.
"My message to her is please, Selina, come home. We all miss you and want you home for Christmas."
This is the second blow suffered recently by Mr Coleing, who used to live in Totterdown, Bristol.
In September this year his niece Holly Coleing, 19, from Portishead, was found dead on the beach near the Royal Hotel.
Selina is described as being of slim build, 5ft 10in and has dark brown, shoulder length hair. Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 0845 4567000.
