Family's fears for Ealing dad missing for a month

Benjamin Browning disappeared on December 11 2009
WORRIED parents of a missing man have travelled 300 miles to search for their son who disappeared before Christmas.
Angela and Mike Browning spent Christmas without Benjamin Browning, of Sherwood Close, West Ealing, and say they have not heard from him since December 11.
The couple, of Sedgwick in the Lake District, say the 33-year-old normally keeps in regular contact and has also missed the birthday of one of his three young sons.
Mrs Browning said: "We couldn't get hold of him by phone, nobody could. Then he missed seeing his children, which he does every Sunday, and we began to get concerned.
"It's completely out of character for him to be out of touch with his family. There are no issues, nothing that couldn't have been solved, no reason why he would go missing.
"He's very outgoing, very sociable and very well liked at his job at MarketOne, a marketing company in Hammersmith Bridge Road, Hammersmith, and his a wide group of friends in Ealing who have been doing a lot of legwork trying to find him."
A Facebook group set up to help track him down has 1,400 members.
Benjamin is a recovering alcoholic and is still affected by the death of his younger brother in a car accident 14 years ago. But his parents say he is coping well and has a good support network.
His father added: "If anything has happened to Benjamin then that's two out of our three children which is very difficult to cope with."
Benjamin's parents, along with his sister, have been putting up posters talking to his friends and combing the areas he has been known to visit. His sister has since gone back to her home in Cambridge but Mr and Mrs Browning are continuing their search.
Mrs Browning said: "We're just desperate to have some news and so is the rest of his family. It would mean everything. I don't feel that I can function and carry on normally. I just need to know anything that could tell us where he is."
Benjamin is white, about 6ft 1ins, with a slim build. He has hazel eyes, short, receding mousey brown hair and four-inch scar at the back of his head.
Police Constable Phil Styles, of the Ealing Missing Persons Unit, said: "We're growing increasingly concerned about Benjamin Browning as we can find no trace of him since December 11.
"Should he not want to come home I would urge him to get in touch with either friends, family or police.
Anyone with information should call the Ealing Missing Persons Unit on 020 8246 1040 or the National Missing Persons Hotline on 0500 700 700.
