OJ Simpson has been found guilty
The all-white jury of nine women and three men reached their verdicts after more than 13 continuous hours of deliberations.
The decision came 13 years to the day since Simpson was cleared of a double murder in America's "trial of the century".
His accomplice in the current trial, Clarence Stewart, was also convicted of the charges. Both men were denied bail and remanded in custody. They will be sentenced on December 5. Simpson, 61, was led away in handcuffs and now faces up to life in prison. His sister, Carmelita Durio, sobbed in the public gallery behind him as the verdicts were read out.
The Charges
Simpson and Stewart were found guilty of all charges they faced:
o First degree kidnapping
o Armed robbery
o Assault with a deadly weapon
o Coercion with a deadly weapon
o Burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon
o Conspiracy to commit a crime, kidnapping and robbery
As spectators left the courtroom, Ms Durio collapsed and paramedics were called, court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said.
The former American football star kidnapped two sports memorabilia dealers by holding them in a room at the Palace Station hotel and casino in Las Vegas before stealing items from them on September 13 last year.
Simpson, who lives in Miami, Florida, claimed he was merely trying to recover items which had been stolen from him.
The former actor and NFL star's high-profile trial in 1995 saw him cleared of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman, by a predominantly black jury in Los Angeles.
The verdict shocked the world and prompted debates over the racial elements of the case and the suitability of televised trials.
In the current trial, Deputy district attorney Chris Owens, prosecuting, said Simpson took a gang of men to the Palace Station to retrieve items he lost while trying to hide them from the family of Ronald Goldman and the California court.
The court had earlier levied a £19m civil 'wrongful death' judgment against Simpson.
Four of the five men who accompanied Simpson to the casino accepted plea deals and agreed to testify for the prosecution.
The fifth, Clarence "CJ" Stewart, 54, was his golfing friend and co-defendant in the trial.

Re: OJ Simpson has been found guilty
Weird how it was something like 10 years to the day he got off with the murder charge? And also when they were about to read the charge the lights all went out
I truly believe in Karma and its come right back round and bit him on his ass, the only thing is because it was an all white jury the race card will be used

Re: OJ Simpson has been found guilty
I am SO glad that justice has been served at last. Although it is too late for his poor wife and friend...
He must think he is above the bloody law or something! He gets away with double murder then goes on to do something AGAIN!! I hope he has a bloody hard time of it in jail.
